Sadly, they are going back and auto-tuning all the greatest live performances, taking away those special nuances that we grew up with. Really hard to find real live vocals these days, even on these older greats.

@@petercofrancesco9812 so true. Given that so many artists use auto tune nowadays. I remember listening to his studio version of “I can’t make you love me” and then listening to the live unplugged version and the live unplugged version was sooooo much better…AND so perfectly sung live. Wow!

One of George Michael's very best vocals in a career filled with timeless classics...He had a voice so smooth that even whipped butter was jealous. Sadly, He got caught up in all the trappings of being a global icon, which ultimately led up to his demise. His music will be admired as long as there are people to listen to it....RIP George

You really love careless whisper, your expression says it all. Back then when I was in school, I don't like the song much thought it was too slow, now as I grow older it gives me vivid memory. His voice is quite powerful.
