Luke is only a couple days younger than Ezra. Also, if you think about it, a Sky Walk is a Bridge between two buildings, so Skywalker and Bridger kinda mean the same thing, from a certain point of view.

@katearcher8514 it's debatable depending on how many days Episode 3 takes place. Some people argue that The Emperor made his decree a couple days before Obi Wan caught up with Anakin on Mustafar.

Hondo was great in CW because he was actually villainous or at least a creditable threat. In Rebels he’s just comic relief.

20:49 Luke isn't "around Ezra's age" he's almost exactly Ezra's age. Ezra was born on Empire Day. The day that Palpatine declared himself Emperor. Luke and Leia were born two days later.

On climbing up vs climbing down = Rebels vs imperial…that’s a stretch. For example Vader and the Emperor use a ramp for a shuttle. Even X Wing pilots have to climb down into their cockpit.

I think Bendu is another idea Lucas got from Dune. The Bene Gesserit's physical training technique is called prana-bindu, and bindu is a Sanskrit word meaning points.

It's disappointing that mandalore transformed the darksabor to a weapon of strength even though it was made by a jedi /mandolorian that used both strength and mercy

I hope when we see thrawn return he’s more knowledgeable of the force and how to fight against because I believe in legends he had lizard pets that were resistant to the force and I think we saw Easter’s egg for them in his office on his ship. Thrawn mind is his best weapon and he knows how to fight hand to hand but if Ashoka’s just straight ups walks to up him deflecting blaster shots or force pushes then the fight is over pretty quick.

I don't think it matters if the previous wielder of the Darksaber earned it in combat or not as long as the current wielder did. Also, that is just tradition for them. I think the issues with Din not being able to properly use it were due to his own internal conflict and uncertainty.

The Maul and Obi-Wan fight seems to have been inspired in part by the ending fight of Sanjuro which has a similar build-up in tension between the fighters that is finished in a single blow.

Love the channel and really enjoying the deep dive into Rebels! I always thought Obi Wan slashed through Maul's lightsaber and essentially opened him from breastbone to navel, didn't see it as a stabbing but you may be right.

9:55, While the Nightsister’s Force magic is powerful, they never demonstrated the able to create as potent an effect as creating sufficient misfortune as to doom an entire world or culture into ruin and exile (you’d think they would have been able to prevent their own destruction if they did). There isn’t a supernatural explanation to the second fall of the Mandalorians, but rather their superstition and pride combined with the numerical superiority of the Empire that deemed them to great a threat to warrant not driving them to the brink of oblivion. 15:38, The darksaber has no power but the belief others put in it (rather than something like the Elder Wand which chooses those that defeat its master and gives them access to its full potential) and there is no curse towards those unworthy of using it, only the superstitious beliefs created by a hyper-religious and easily fractured society, which it why its destruction is meant to pave the way towards a better Mandalore freed from the symbol that divided more people than it united and set an unreasonable standard of strength through combat being the only way to determine who is worthy of leading.

I’m not too caught up on my Mandalorian history so correct me if I’m wrong, but if the Darksaber truly is cursed then could it be a product of Nightsister witchcraft? I know in the past Mandalore has been notorious for tearing itself apart in relation to who wields the Darksaber so it probably wasn’t Nightsister influence that cursed it, but it’s worth noting just how much worse things get for Mandalore from this point on
