For a 120k city , how quiet and calm. It is obviously during the weekend , but still . I was in the city visiting a cousin's place 20 yr ago, but hadn't seen the town.

@@rsa7006 With sidewalks you can walk where you wNt, right ? If there aren't sidewalks , walking/running on the left side of the road is safer, because you can see the traffic coming. If it might get dangerous , you don't get surprised and can jump into the berm . Until some years ago it was a rule in the Netherlands. It was scrapped because it was hardly folliwed/known about...(a bit dumb imo ..) But walking at the opposite side makes more sense from safety perspective ..
