Please keep promoting the heavy pickups with extra wide offset wheels. I have a shop and love wheel hub and suspension work$$$$. My buddy with a body shop loves to repaint the gravel damage to the doors and bed sides.

It is common on those V6 eco-boost motors to sound like that. The sound is coming from the cam phasers. The more miles you put on that motor the more you’ll hear that sound. I wish Ford would do a recall.

Might wanna get a magnetic drain plug to check it for shavings and catch any bearing failure that may arise, that was ran at the dealership quite long without oil....

Finally you guys are using the trailer for what its ment to be! keep using this trailer for getting your parts from the dealer guys. its alot safer this way and the parts remain dry.

For real. A few of the boxes were too long for a truck bed. So much easier and safer to toss in the trailer. Glad it's no longer being wasted on sitting around as storage.

Ford recommend after running to let it sit for 15 minutes before checking the oil level on 2.7&3.5T. I had a tech come to me after 10 quarts in an ecoboost and then ask why it’s still low. Also holding the accelerator pedal all the way down when cracking will kill the injectors and allow it to make oil pressure before starting. For the future.

If you can get Seal-All in your area you can use that to stop the leak on the oil pan until your new one gets in. Most auto parts stores carry it and if they don't you should be able to get some at home depot. This stuff is so amazing you can seal a running leak in a gas tank with it by putting some on your finger and holding it over the leak for about a minute until it sets up a bit. Just do the same with the oil pan and it will stop that leak.

Bronco standard engine is the 2.3 4 cylinder. The standard engine on some trim levels is the 2.7 EcoBoost. Bronco Raptor is the 3.0 EcoBoost. The F150 Raptor is the 3.5 EcoBoost. The rattle is likely timing components. Timing chain, tensioner, VCTs. Oil level is super important for proper operation. 2.7/3.0 is 6qts and the filter is FL2032.

Hey guys, when you sign for new parts, wherever you purchase them, just add STC (Subject To Check) after your signature. I always did that in my 45 years selling spare parts. There ARE always butt holes who will say you DID the damage to any part that is received damaged.

Simon the eco boost rattle you are talking about is the cam phaser rattle. It’s noticeable when the engine has been sitting. There is a recall for that.

I've got a 2022 wildtrak and you'll have tons of fun getting this together and driving it when it's done! I love my Bronco. The Raptor bronco by the way is a 3.0 V6. Also depending on when that engine was produced the dipstick may be incorrect, there was a bunch that went out with the wrong dip stick. You're going to find that the bronco was built with being modular and able to change out parts easier than your average vehicle.

sometimes between min line and full mark is a liter but they had to put in a lot more that engine is toast better check for metal shavings and inspect oil pickup for shavings.

One more thing, how on earth did they miss checking the oil dipstick. I mean this is an automobile repair channel . Isn't it? Sorry guys , but I feel bad for that V6. Best of luck for all..

Yeah starting it up and continually running it even after it sounded suspect was a dumb move. The guys work hard, and are super talented with cosmetic stuff/repair but I don't know how mechanically inclined they are sometimes.
