You have some nice shop! And it's quite interesting, how a little misalignment on the valve can lead to such a devastating damage.

Thankyou! The problem wasn't in the valves, the jet ski was turned upside down in the water and when you want to roll it back you should do it clockwise but they didn't counter clockwise and the water got through the intake inside the cylinder, and they starter it with water in the cylinder and water can't be compressed like air and damaged the piston rod!

I ask. Why is it it seems. With the Yamaha MR-1 160hp 1100cc engine. It's the number 1 cylinder conrod that seems to brake a lot.

Was very usual I just pulled my head off but all my pistons crank just my timing chain snapped

Is it possible to engrave the cylinder to a larger piston size? The original is 86 mm and needs to be engraved for an 86.5 mm piston

Yes 0.5 should be ok! But if you can go 0.25 will be better!

I have the same engine in my Yamaha fsh 190. Mine runs great. What are the weak links on these engines?

They don't have weak points, very good engines! Valve adjustment on time and you are good to go! Mine was turned upside down and someone tried to start it with water inside the cylinder and broke the piston rod in pieces!

I mean, 30 hours on that oil and filter, and she runs great.
