I'm late on this video, but the more I hear you talk about Fourth Wing, the way you seem to hit a lot of the things that keep me from reading Fantasy/ Romantasy/Dystopia, but enjoy this one, gives me confidence that I stand a chance of liking it when my turn comes. I rarely see anyone mention the things that don't draw me in as a reader of those genres.

omg fourth wing truly scratched the romantasy itch, especially knowing the sequel comes out in NOVEMBER I need it so bad. another good fantasy rec I read recently that you might like is serpent and the wings of night by carissa broadbent. loveddd that one. vampires and trials and heirs to the throne, all the good stuff.

I fought my husband against a automatic light in our pantry and now I walk into random rooms expecting the light to turn on. Like I stand there for 2 min until I realize I have to do it 😂 I also fought Fourth Wing because I was like eh dragons but the dragons ended up being my favorite part of the book! Their personalities were so fun!

I really feel like their style would fit with your vibe bc their books are so aesthetic and they often do exclusives covers of books you cannot get anywhere else. It’s very fun!

I love how your videos balance cozy beautiful aestheticness and being super accessible casual. I find sometimes I "save" videos that are super cinematic for when I am able to fully appreciate it (which rarely ever happens lol), so to have that cinematic aesthetic in a talky vloggy easy to watch video is so so appreciated. I don't know if that makes any sense to anyone else 😅

I think you would love the book Half A Soul by Olivia Atwater. It's such a sweet, cute story! It's a short read too. Once I finished it the first time, I immediately started reading it all over again, it was that good! 😊

ollipop is so good, strawberry vanilla is my favorite too. and have you ever tried Lume natural deodorant? i thought it was overhyped until i tried it and it actually worked and i sweat easily. and i think a shower filter is really great for people with hard water or just want to be even more refreshed 😊

ruggable saved our family since we have a dog. my husband is allergic to my dog but he loves my dog so much we decided to find a rug that would be easy for me to wash to help dispose of our dogs allergens. not to mention i am also a clutsy person too lmao. my nickname when i was a child was muprhy (like murphys law lol) and spilling on the rug makes it simple to clean right up if the spill is big enough lmao. the rugs are definitely nice, love all the designs they have, they even have outdoor rugs, not to mention the cushion mats if you want cushion. honestly the best decision we have ever made.

On the topic of deodorant: try Mitchum. It’s not natural but it ACTUALLY lasts. I’ll wear it all day at work and then do a workout and it lasts. It’s awesome. I get the Mitchum with the orange/yellowish label

Yay! Favorites videos are my favorite! btw a tip for stinky pits- use witch hazel to cleanse your armpits before putting on deodorant- it is a natural antibacterial (the bacteria is what smells bad), so while you will still sweat because you are human, your sweat won't smell like bad B.O.! :)

Great recommendations K! Thanks for the video. I want to suggest the book Red Rising by Pierce Brown. It was so great to listen to as an audio book and I got through it fast! It’s a great blend of Dystopian/Syfy and the main character is out for sweet sweet vengeance. But in a smart way not an annoying way 😊 It’s great. It gave me the rise up vibes the first hunger games book gave me back in the day

if you didn’t love ACOTAR I highly recommend Throne of Glass, in my opinion it’s SJM’s best work! the story is way better, the stakes are higher and it’s a complete story. It’s a long series (8books) but it’s so worth it

I’ll say that I like some of the other Olipop flavors so we may have different taste haha, but I just wanted to share that there are few things on this planet that I love more than a lavender chai latte. It can be tricky to get the right ratio and not all lavender flavoring is the same, but wow I love it! See the Worth seems like such a cool brand tfs 💛

I know these are old now, but a book series I LOVE is The Daevabad Trilogy, which starts with The City of Brass! It has Genies 🧞‍♀️ or Djinn, and I never read a full series but I could not get enough of this series 😊

If you havent yet maybe you should try cirkul water you can set your flavor dialing from 1 to 9 or turn off the flavor when you want just plain water they have different flavors including tea some coffees and they are decently priced and one cartidge last one week if you have it on a low setting i love it and haven't touched soda much its sweetened with splenda but says zero sugar my guess is if you have it on a low setting but its so good and the flavor doesnt mix in the water its in the cartidge

Alright! Didn’t know those syrups existed! Gonna have to look for it haha. Haven’t read the books but the body language you gave is me whenever I read a book that’s TOO spicy haha. I don’t really read fantasy but the Fourth Wing may be my first! Also my mom and I used to watch Vanderpump Rules. We haven’t for a few seasons (before my mom passed but still haven’t went back to it) but I agree, it’s GOOD. I remember hearing recently about the most uh… recent updates and uh… WOW! Hahaha! Skinny Syrups at TJ Maxx has a vanilla chai syrup, and it’s SO GOOD with unsweetened oat milk and a double shot of Nespresso. AND OMG WHERE did you get that Plumbob mug?!
