A review of three different brands of pruning saw blades for use in a reciprocating saw. I put these three brands through some heavy duty tests of durability and go over the results.

Exactly what I wanted to see thanks. Looks like the Milwaukee blade is available in a shop near me, even in NZ :)

Thanks. Cramped due to sharing the space with our business, but I make it work.

Have you ever tried the Diablo pruning? I have a 5 pack that I'm still on my first blade and I've cut everything from dried out Palm branches to olive leaf branches and even extremely hard wood pallets with a m18 Hacksaw and it just rips through everything I throw at it.

I am a fan of Diablo blades, but the reciprocating saw blades for pruning are not available in this area

@@rogersshop Oh that's too bad. I picked some up at my local home Depot and just to mention it, like I said I've cut real dried out hardened palm branches with them and I've seen a Gardner cutting the same thing with a gas powered mini chainsaw and it really seems like the same exact amount of time (like 3 seconds) with an 18v to rip through them. I then take the huge palm branches (atleast 12 ft) and cut them in a bunch of small sections to fit them in the recycle and again it makes lite work of them in about 2 seconds per cut one handed. Really impressive stuff if you happen to run across them 👍🏻

I can vouch for the Diablo. They last a long time even when cutting stumps at ground level in dirt

@@rogersshop Interesting, just got the carbide Diablo pruning blade. Can't wait to try it, reviews look good.

@@newjargon1697 I haven't tried the carbide blade yet. On my list, though.

I have a few Irwin reciprocating saw blades. Cuts 0ver 4 inch but it's the dewalt brushed version.

I only want to know which blade do you recommend in a Zombie Apocolypse?
@rogersshop2 жыл бұрын
I think it that case, I'd go with the Performax since Zombies generally do not like the color yellow.☺

Damn still have the ni-cad brushed de-walt. I haven't seen one in a while. Usually the batteries are clapped out. Sweet.

I have the newer 20 volt brushless too, but my 18 volt stuff still works and I have several batteries that work.

@@rogersshop Nice brother. Lot of people tossed the stuff as soon as Li-Ion tech got popular and included batteries with the tool.
