I'm not American,I'm Dutch, but I love this! What a wonderful collaboration with Lee Greenwood and The United States Air Force band. One by one such beautiful voices which match so well with the voices of Home Free. The fact that Lee Greenwood remains the center of attention I think shows a lot of respect for this great singer. But Adam Rupp tops it off with his incredible beatboxing/vocal percussion/vocal sounds. He is inhuman.

One of the things that I love about this song is the fact that, when the name of a State was mentioned, it was actually sung by someone *from* that state (and with the proper accent)!

"The Singing Sergeants" are one of 6 ensembles that make up the USAF Band. Lee Greenwood loved this as he was able to do things vocally he always wanted to with this song. He needed the additional vocal support to free him up to do it.

Howdy, as they say in Texas (my home state). I am a retired U.S. Air Force combat vet, and I have a great deal of pride in this song, as Lee sang it YEARS ago, live, when I was stationed in the Philippines (where I now live full time). The military crowd was hugely pumped up (this was in the '80's), and I wont' ever forget that! A LOT of patriotism and pride. To hear him now sing it with the iar Force singers is just. flat awesome! I know you will enjoy this!

the swoosh sound of an air force fighter jet was also an awesome sound by Adam Rupp....he is a genius. Recky, let me add two more to that collection of songs...one a Lee Greenwood song, that was out about 6 weeks ago, its' "Between a rock & a heartache"....the video will make you chuckle, it's not to be taken too seriously but those harmonies....just what we expect from Home Free. The 2nd song is their latest, The Driver, it's absolutely awesome, those harmonies on FULL DISPLAY....you'll also enjoy the video as it's a tribute to the hardworking people all over the world that keep our countries & societies going...without those truck drivers our economies just fall apart

Home Free are class. They collaborate with a country legend and some of America's military people to create a magnificent cover of a song that expresses the love that patriots have for our country and they allow them to shine in their own right. Home Free are not ego driven, so this comes naturally to them. This beautiful video gives patriots chills and rightfully so. And did you notice the jet flyover sound Adam Rupp did at the end? Great reaction. Thank you.

I remember when this song first came out. I had just got to Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma from Aviano Air Base in Italy. I was at my halfway mark having served 10 years already. I reenlisted and was a new member of the 3rd Combat Comm Gp. We had Commanders Call at the Base theater and to close the Commanders Call the Air Force Now film was played and the Air Force along with Lee Greenwood made music video using Air Force fighter jets. I can tell that got a standing ovation as the patriotism consumed us all. This video is just as amazing and brings back a lot of great memories.

We was in his late 70s when he performed this with Home Free and the Air Force band! He was very pleased with the arrangement by HF Producer Darrin Rust! We felt it gave him the opportunity to hold out notes longer and even add the hours of “please, please” God bless the USA!! It was released two years ago around Fourth of July, FC for Independence Day! Humphrey recorded this several years ago performing in front of Matt Rushmore in front of the monument of five Presidents! Adam Rupp vocalizes the drum while doing the arm movements!! it’s amazing!! Some think of this song as a new national anthem! Great reaction!!

If you don’t mind what was your son‘s alma mater? Im a Charleston native an like my Grandfather, Uncle and Dad I went to The Citadel on athletic scholarship and no intention of joining the military, as I saw my Uncle struggle with many mental and addiction issues resulting from his 7 years in Vietnam. After my knob yr a couple of my teammates returned for sophomore year having completed boot camp and were Marine Reservists and I hardly recognized them as far as their new found attitude towards team over self vs. I way to shine, they went from being the teammate that loved it every time we ran gassers or any other drills to the teammates that not only went all out but would finish and go back to help the teammates that were struggling. After one season of playing with these “new teammates“ I decided to switch from Air Force to USMC classes and by the end of my junior year decided that I will be a U.S Marine. After my service I went back to school to receive my masters in structural engineering from Georgia Tech. Thank you for raising a wonderful man and I know my mother spent many sleepless nights so I would also like to thank you for your service as the Mother nurturing force I’m sure your son knew was always there for him, as I was with my Mom! SEMPER FI!!

The United States was founded on desensitization and disagreement and will continue which is why we are such an open society. But it's just like the family with a lot of kids, you can fight like hell between each other but if someone out side of the family stick their nose in their nose will get broken and their ass kicked. Being a open society there is a lot that is seen including our political differences. Right now for an example Russia has everybody bullied but the longer this war goes on the more we see how vulnerable they are. Every time a new weapon system is shown there are probably a half dozen in development with some already ready for deployment.

Also they did a funny video of his song Between a Rock and a Heartache. Adam, the beatboxer, also did a flyover (sound of a jet) at the end too. He’s amazingly talented. Tim wrote a good song called Land of the Free you might like and they also did Brothers in Arms which is incredible (although there is no beatboxing). Great reaction Recky 😍

I don't know HOW I love Home Free, and I love Lee Greenwood... and especially this done, and I missed it coming out. This song makes me cry everytime.😢everything. Lee wrote this song when we were younger... probably 25 or more years ago. I saw him live sing this on a base and not an able body was seated when he was done. Anytime it's sang at karaoke bars it's the same way for so many. I am so grateful for my country. Even though we're going through some serious things within our own government, we are still blessed.
