I can’t believe I forgot King Harald! For him, I would recommend the Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkowski. It is a political love story where power passes back and forth between the protagonists. Harald has always been searching for his queen and longs for a great love so I think he’d enjoy the Winner’s Curse!

Loved this video. I’m gonna watch the last season over the weekend and I’m also sad it is the last one. I really liked the show and I specially loved the scenes of Ragnar and Ivar’s journey to England. I’d love to watch a video where you talk more about your studies of Ragnar and Ivar.

I agree with you on everything when you mentioned Ragnar's personality in the series, but I also think he had a great sense of what he could do or not do (which is different from doing what is right or wrong, if I make myself understood) for example, I think it's the big difference between him and Ivar. I also love floki as a character, but I find Floki very impulsive (at least in the first few seasons) despite being loyal. And it's funny how his personality has changed and in my opinion, in the end he became very similar to Ragnar and mainly stayed with the wisdom that characterized Ragnar also in the end. Ragnar knew how to wait, he had the patience to achieve what he wanted. Floki despite having stayed with this wisdom, in practice he continued to be blind in his own way (even when he wanted to be better and bring better things to his community, after all, I think floki is a naive character). This is to say that in the end, they had similar traits, but with different personalities and Ragnar was an example for Floki. Just as Lagertha was an example for Ragnar. I think that when they broke up and the choice she made definitely changed Ragnar and changed him to the point where he became this character who, despite not being good, also didn't want to judge the motivations of others. It was almost a punch in the stomach, as he took Lagertha for granted, in my opinion and Lagertha taught him to be patient and appreciate it, in a way, Lagertha was also the one who built Ragnar as a person.
