Course The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam
Module 1 | Sessions 4: Intuition | Ahmad Javid
The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam is a compilation of seven lectures delivered by Allama Muhammad Iqbal on Islamic philosophy which were published in 1930. These lectures were delivered by Iqbal in Madras, Hyderabad, and Aligarh.
International Iqbal Society in collaboration with The Lahore Arts Council has arranged a special course on The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam, the magnum opus of Iqbal. This course comprises of twelve weekly sessions which will be conducted by several authorities on this subject.
The first three sessions of this course will be introductory sessions in order to go through the preface and familiarize the participants with the terminologies used in this book. The rest of the seven sessions will be one session per lecture of this book.

Session 3: Ishq and ReligiousExperience by Dr. Moeen Nizami
Session 4: Intuition by Mr. Ahmad Javaid

Session 6: Preface of Reconstruction by Dr. Tahir Hameed
Session 7: Preface of Reconstruction by Dr. Tahir Hameed
Session 8: Lecture 1 of Reconstruction by Dr. Tahir Hameed
Session 9: Lecture 1 of Reconstruction by Dr. Tahir Hameed
Session 10: Discussion Session
Session 11: Lecture 2 of Reconstruction by Dr.Aasem Bakhshi
Session 12: Lecture 2 of Reconstruction by Dr.Aasem Bakhshi
These courses are organized by the International Iqbal Society in Lahore.
InshaAllah we will be sharing the videos of these lectures for those who can not personally attend, and will also help those who are attending to revise what they have learned sitting in these amazing classes inshaAllah.

عمدہ کاوش! اقبال سوسائٹی کی طرف سے قابل تحسین اقدام۔👍اقبال کی فکر پر بہت کم لیکچرز youtube پر میسر تھے۔ بالخصوص reconstruction of religious thought in Islam. پر لیکچرز نہ ھونے کے برابرہیں۔احمد جاوید کا بیان ان کی تحریر سے بھی زیادہ متاثر کن ھے۔ ماشاءاللہ! گزارش ھے کہ ان کے زیادہ سے زیادہ لیکچرز upload کیے جائیں۔

MashAllah Pakistanio kay izhan ko Ahmad Javed sahib aik din jadeed izhaan bana dain gay "SHAYAD" jo kay hamaray "ilmi" nizam ma bohat he mushkil kaam ha. "Anyways" logoun kay afsurda chehray hamri ilm dushmani ka saboot hain, hazreen nahi balkay unn kay jaali aur maghroor usaataza nay salooun jahalat ko faroogh dia ha aur iss ki riwayat ko shagirdoun ma muntaqil kia ha. "Enjoy" the difficult concepts epistemology, reality and perception. And keep the tradition of shut up to any novel idea and different question.

Whatever Philosophy may be, no one can be satisfied to adapt the definitions derived/established by others because it may have no scientific/established laws. For example, I may define Philosophy in terms that may be different from other's. What is philosophy? In my opinion philosophy is a theoretical science and by means of that we can establish different hypotheses which may be proved to be true or otherwise.

All the western Philosophers were in fact getting their knowledge mostly from the heavenly religions and used to mix something from their own sides and that was considered or termed as their philosophy. And philosophy is nothing but just a theoretical science.

"Intuition" may be defined that It is a faculty of mind via that we can experience somethings that may have physical or metaphysical objects. Further, for example I don't believe in mysticism and Nabi is never any Sufi. I totally disbelieve the philosophy of mysticism which is nothing but the thoughts of one's own mind and one's self physical practices.

حضرت گزارش ہے کہ اپکے موضاعات ویسے ہی بڑے قد و کاٹھ کے اعتبار سے اتنے بالا ہوتے ہیں کہ عام ادمی کی ان تک رسائی اتنی نہیں ہوتی جتنی شد بد وہ عام دینی فقہی مساہل پر کم و بیش رکھتا ہے اس پر اپکا انداز بیان ایسا ہوتا ہے کہ اپکی گفتگو سے استفادہ صرف مرتبہ علما پر فاءیز لوگ ہی اٹھا سکتے گویا اپکی گفتگو تو عالمانہ ہوتی ہی ہے لیکن لگتا ہے کہ جیسے اپکے مخاطبین بھی صرف علما ہی ہیں گزارش ہے کہ مہربانی فرماتے ہوے اپ اپنا انداز بیان عام ادمی کی ذہنی سطع کا خیال رکھتے ہوے اختیار فرماہیں تاکہ اپکی اس ویڈیوز کی حاصل ہونے والی صحبت سے ہر خاص کیساتھ عام ادمی بھی مسفید ہو سکے
