►► Free Logic Pro mini course for songwriters! Set up a friction-free workflow to streamline song-making at → bedroomproducer.com/logic
Do you want to make your own songs in Logic Pro X but you’re looking for some know-how when it comes to recording vocals? Maybe you’ve got a microphone, and even an interface - but when you fire everything up, you just can’t seem to get things sounding professional and clean.
Before you know it, you’re lost inside the software randomly clicking on things to try and get things sounding the way you want them to. All while the excitement levels begin to drop, you start to lose interest pretty quick...
Well, in this video I’m going to break down the entire vocal recording process into just a few simple steps. All beginner friendly! You’re actually using a great DAW, because Logic makes it SO easy to record and process vocals. You just need to know where to look and what to set up!
After watching this video, the next time you go to record vocals in Logic Pro X, it’s my goal that you’ll feel confident clicking around in the software and that you’ll know what to do to track those vocals!
Enjoy,
- Nathan 👊🏻

This is the very first "free course" that didn't actually sell me anything. I watched the 1st 2nd 3rd and bonus video and it put the puzzle together for me. I shall now put this system to use and such. Watch, I'll make you proud :) Thank you, Nathan.

chapters in a book yes taking taking the different song sections and compiling them building out a story is like a mini book with different chapters and uh adding in those details to make the song really shine . Chapters of the book are very detailed and some people say instead of track one they say chapter one yeah . so with the different uh uh the analogy to storytelling is is maybe not even an analogy it might even be like exactly the same because the song lyrics are in essence telling a story um other people who said the music of the words uh or the music of the words then the Rhythm then the bass then the basic Baseline Melody then tweak the words then detail of the melody harmonies then transitions then tweak the harmonies then recycle ♻.

Well, this channel deserves subscription, because it‘s understandable and useful! I know almost everything about this from videos by another Nathan who could be your twin brother in terms of outlook and way of talking. The 2 videos I saw so far are a good revision for me. Moreover your voice is what I wanted to have. Super! A question to the first video of yours I saw about arrangement: What’s more usual: to put a verse after the bridge or the chorus again? In my current song I have put another verse there.

Honored to have you around my friend! Thank you for your kind words- it pumps me up knowing these vids have been helpful! And great question- in contemporary arrangements I notice a final chorus hitting after the bridge more often than a verse. Both can be tasteful! 👊🏻

Nathan I have a interesting 🧐 question is standard album and deluxe edition records do they tell the same story like example four by one direction has 12 tracks and the total 🟰 duration is about 43:33 and that’s the standard version of the record now what happens if there’s bonus tracks like example one direction four has 16 tracks the total 🟰 length or duration from start to finish is about 57:19 does it count if it it’s telling the same story when the album sequencing change from start to finish aka standard edition what it comes with aka 12 tracks aka deluxe edition aka ultimate edition with bonus tracks that has 16 tracks? Four album 💿 japan 🇯🇵 total 🟰 duration is about 57 minutes while the ultimate edition is about 1 hour and 11 minutes does it still count telling a story and does the album sequencing change even though it still count as telling a story for album 💿?
@NathanEswine
@NathanEswine 10 ай бұрын
Great question Luke! To me, yes - regardless of track count, the same story can be told. The inclusion of bonus tracks are a fun gift to fans and they are typically written in the same timeframe as the songs that make the "standard" album version. I think of it like a movie with deleted scenes... the deleted scenes can be great and even fill in some gaps in the story. But the movie is not ruined without them... the story still gets told effectively. Hope that makes sense! Just my thoughts 👊🏻

Agreed 👍 👍 Nathan to me when there’s bonus tracks on album 💿 sequencing I still count it and it even also tells a story too. Like example four by one direction the standard album 💿 💿 is about 43:33 while the bonus tracks which is about 57 minutes and 15 seconds or 1 hour and 11 minutes and to me I still count it as telling a story because it has details and even chapters and I agreed 👍 with you Nathan albums are books 📖 aka mini book 📖 with the numbers as chapters like chapter 1,2,3,4 etc. while the lyrics as the details too. @@NathanEswine

@@NathanEswine And why are album 💿 are viewed as one big story? IAMLXGEND 8 months ago It is a cohesive collection of songs used to tell a bigger theme or project an overall vibe. Think of an album as a book. And your songs as chapters. Every book has chapters. Every album has songs. Each chapter is different. Each song is different. But the collection of chapters (the collection of songs) is what tells the full story of the book (of the album). Usually the songs on an album are the result of an artist's creations during a season of life. This means the songs can all speak to a similar set of themes, ideas and topics. So the aim of an album name is to try and sum up the big story/concept that all the songs pull from when they were written. It's not always like these, especially today. But traditionally, an album is like a "book" with the songs inside being like "chapters." Fun stuff! (I think 🤓) is that true jonathan why are studio album 💿 are viewed as one big story and does studio records count to have 6 or more songs aka 7 or more songs and more than 30 minutes to count as a record example monster by r.e.m. has about 12 tracks and it has about 49:05 aka 48:38? For me I think of album 💿 deluxe edition as full book instead of a mink book 📖 and instead of 12 chapters it’s 16 chapters which it is change from mini book 📖 into a full book but filling the pages from a book 📖.@@NathanEswine
