Hi vinyl community! Today I’m finally getting around to showing my haul for Record Store Day 2024 💿 I also talk a little bit about my experience! I ended up getting my #1 wanted item which was The Beatles 3” inch mini turntable 🪲 I also got the John Lennon Mind Games EP on glow in the dark vinyl, as well as released from psych rock bands Gandalf and SRC, which were last minute purchases!

Congrats on your haul. So nice to see fans of bands get what they wanted the most. I actually didn’t, buuut, got a lot of other great things and then found it online the monday after 😊 One other I could not get and I decided against the Doors. It was so expensive! I may have missed out on Gandalf! But I honestly didn’t know 😄 Enjoy your finds and the weekend. Well deserved after 11 hours in line 😳

Looks like you made out really well on RSD. I need to look into getting that glow-in-the-dark John Lennon vinyl for sure.

Hey Kristine! Can’t believe you camped out since 9pm… that’s dedication. Nice haul… the Gandalf buy is a great one.. I’ve been thinking of picking one up from Rough Trade. Never heard of SRC… looks cool. I don’t have a nearby participating RSD store… so had to do a different video for my RSD experience 🙂 Liked and subbed! Cheers, Jack

Also picked up SRC, Lennon and Gandalf this year! I never thought I’d have Gandalf on vinyl due to the insane prices on the original too so when I saw its limited release, I had to camp out. The Amboy dukes and rain parade were two other psych records I scored. I highly suggest checking them out!

Those psych lps are classics and a must own in their original format. Both of the RSD releases for SRC and Gandalf have a digital step regardless of what the hype sticker tries to state. Cash grab play on words to dupe the vinyl buying public into thinking there wasn’t a digital step or 2. Shameful Anyway, great lps that I am happy to see the younger generation is discovering so RSD is good for something
