That is so true when it comes to flash flooding. That is the reason that we did not make it to church on Sunday.

Tell us more! Surely you didn't have the remnants of a hurricane hit Norway. That would be more crazy than one hitting the state of Nevada.

@@GrassRootsLiving Hello. This is caused by extremely heavy rain in a short period of time. I live by a river that has risen 12-15 feet and done a lot of damage. My home is undamaged, but many people have lost their homes or holiday homes/caravans. It will probably take a while to get the railway running again, but the roads can be repaired and temporary detours made. We had a heat wave throughout June, then it rained throughout July. The ground was saturated with water, so when the extreme rain came after this there was flooding in many places. But life goes on.
