The problem with those who are criticizing the presentation is the lack of understanding of how these speakers work and the technology behind achieving all that, these are phenomenal speakers. The performance is unparalleled and this man did a fantastic job.

I think he is brilliant - he explains complex ideas so that those with little knowledge can understand. And having had the pleasure of listening to him in person, he is amusing and personable. I valued the time he took to talk to a friend and I when we visited Struer 10 years ago - was supposed to be going back this year but Covid spoiled that.

not a bad presentation very well vetted and defined and explained would've been fun to have been there. I'm sure there are very dense people not entertained or educated by any of this but I'm not really concerned other than pity. very well refined presentation. I like it so much I was captivated despite the imperfect videography.

starts with nonsesne. "want no bounce back from side walls". in real it is you want controlled reflections.

Presentation is interesting. But the recording is just awful. Way too dark, zoomy and bad sounding.

+dhruvgrg "An actual demo" is nothing you get on youtube....you have to sit in the same room as the speaker. I have heard them and they are beyond stunning. No words can describe them...

Makes too many flawed assumptions for the sake of the" Demonstration", for instance, 2:35 The way human brain compares so we can understand when a sound source is moving away (or moving closer) is mainly because of the Doppler Effect not because of Reflections, we wouldn't be able to tell if we were in open space with no reflections otherwise. 9:50 Also false, as he correctly says low frequencies are Omni-directional, so you can't use the "back woofer" at 180 degrees opposite to the front woofer to kill frequencies "that way", you will "kill" frequencies ALL OVER THE ROOM.

Look it up on google, we do perceive depth in sound from difference in volume between sound coming from reflections off the wall and sound coming directly from the source not the Doppler effect. An example where you experience this is the fact you can tell how far away someone is much more easily in a room rather than outside on a field.

Btw there are 4 woofers at 45 degree angles to each other. Geoff Martin just said the back woofer as an example to make it easier to understand

+M van Drunen This is the "inventor/brain/ears" behind the speaker, and i think the talk about the speaker are quite good from a technical perspective, often technical people lack people skills and have trouble communicate to others, but this is not the case here, i find the video interesting, and maybe the presentation would have been better if we were there live on the day, this is just a glimpse of the event. :)

+M van Drunen He's not a salesman but clearly a developer/designer, hence he knows what he's talking about. I find this presentation way more interesting than the waffle of a sales person who could just as well be selling a washing machine.
