Just discovered your channel, and I am totally blown away by the quality of your content. I'm planning on getting the EVO 16 with the Beatkit Pro 7, but was never able to find any videos with both being used. Thank you for the great video, I'll be on the lookout for more!

I liked the Lewitts a taste more but B was not bad. It really boiled down to your playing and it was spot on. I really appreciated your drumming skills. The presentation had a jazz rock fusion vibe with the placement of snare hits. It was groovy and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Ah thanks. The A/B comparison was “Out of phase” and then “In Phase” audio. All the same recording. B was in phase.

This kit seems ok but for me it would be great with a second snare mic and a hi-hat mic ( why not the same model as the over-head mic) whith this kit and for the price you won't be ridiculous because even it's not the high end choice you will be able to do a good job, Lewitt is a good brand but not enough knowed for me, i had the opportnity of. using a Rex 640 kick mic ( dual capsules) and i can say that is one of the best mic i have used, it is not a cheap one but as it is a master piece in your equipement for me it's a good choice make an A/B test with a Shure beta 52 and you will hear the difference. The thing is that the B 52 is well knowed and always asked in the riders of most of bands. Hello from Switzerland mountains.☃️🇨🇭🌲❤️

Would you say it is a better set than SE Vpack Arena Kit?

Good question. Slightly different, I found the SEs drier sounding. The SE8s are very good, arguably crisper than the 140s. Long story short, I’m using the Lewitt’s from now on in the studio.

@thebeardedkozak I feel the Lewitt Tom and snare mics have a more even tone and attack. The SEs are slightly wooly in the mids. Both are great. The SE Tom mounts are far better.
