Thanks for your video. I never Press and Hold the Function button when I want to turn recording to SD card on or off. You just press the Function button and release it and it will stay on for a few seconds allowing you to then press the Replay/Record button to start or stop recording. No need to hold Function button and Replay/Record button at the same time.

Thank you for the tutorial for recording. I've had my scanner over a year and hadn't figured out how to permanently record. I knew how to set up the replay and listen to the last 180 seconds that I had set my buffer to, but didn't know how to save it. I did notice that you don't have to press and hold the function key. Pressing it shows an F in the upper left corner of the screen and if you hit the replay/record button immediately, it works as well.

Hi... icapologize for the delay getting back to you... thus so.mer I've been prepping and selling my house and now I'm in the process if buying a new one... then comes moving! I've had to put my channel on hold but will be back once om re-settled!

Open the SD card on your computer. Select all audio recording folders. Press delete.

is each transmission a separate file or is it one file for the start - stop period?

Hi... I apologize for the long delay getting back to you... I have been doing a lot of traveling lately. I did have some time to dive into your question though and this is what I found: Each recording session is saved on your SD card as a separate folder. In those folders you will find individual .Wav files for each transmission recorded. Every time the carrier drops, a new recording begins but all the recordings for a given recording session will be found in its respective folder. I hope that helps and again... my apologies for the long delay responding.
