I got these records from a guy that was going to throw them in the skip and I had no idea what was in the boxes until I recorded this video for the vinyl community.
On this occasion I was very luck as in one of the boxes was a copy of Led Zeppelin 1 on the original Plum and Red Atlantic label from 1969.
It’s so I nice to get a chance to look through old records especially when they have been in the loft for so many years.

That Sergio Mendes is a great LP and the Downliners Sect is a repress of a fairly rare original LP

Janis Ian between the lines was a no.1 album here in the states and it’s an excellent album. Singer songwriter stuff a pleasure to listen to. I can see why it was NO.1

Nice to get freebies..a guy i know has a de clutter business and clears houses after probate..he always lets me have any vinyl records, most he has found were ok and quite common titles, but he did find me Magna Cartas' debut from 1969 in mint condition, worth around £100.

Agreed, I have had some amazing records form house clearance people over the years however, I don't think I have ever found a copy of Magna Carta's first LP. Top marks!

Nice find on the Led Zeppelin! Uk pressings like that sell for $100-150 here in the US. I’d love to have one of those!

A mixed bag; as they say. I have the Paddy Roberts and Cajun albums. Not worth much but preferable (IMHO) to Led Zeppelin.

If the Country Sect was an original press it could be worth almost 100 quid but it’s a 1977 reissue it looks like

Remove from the PVC sleeves immediately & throw them (the sleeves) in the bin!

I just paid a trip this morning to my local charity tip shop (ironically at the dump) to see a guy with a huge pile had cleared up everything 😞 he wasn't in the mood to chat either just hogged the space (which I'd probably have done the same) he left absolutely nothing of interest huge disappointment 😞 that's how it goes unfortunately.

Great comment, I think many would understand your disappointment. Years ago I went into a Cash Converters, the story was that someone had recently brought in a stack of Tangerine Dream discs, by the time I caught wind of it a guy had bought the lot, I did find one and had to be content with that. I don’t have much luck in charity shops although I did find a Focus album a while ago. Keep searching.

Dump those plastic sleeves. They're made of a nasty chemical which can ruin the covers and will stick to them. Trust me. Throw them out.

I am very happy for you to believe whatever you want. I found records like these on many occasions and to be honest this is nothing compared to what I have found in the past. Please feel free to make up your own mind and thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
