If you are going to be driving off-road with your Jimny I'd recommend that you carry at least;
- Tyre pressure guage
- Compressor
- Shovel
- Recovery Boards
When I started driving off road and on the beach, I wanted to be as prepared as possible to deal with situations when I got stuck/bogged. Because the Jimny is my first 4x4 and I'm a complete novice, I had no Idea which gear I was going to buy or what I would need. This was a big learning curve and I have tried to stick to the essentials and keep the costs down where possible. As I share my experiences, I hope that I am able to assist other beginners like myself and maybe provide interesting content for more experienced drivers.
One of the decisions I needed to make was how I was going to mount the recovery boards to the vehicle. It was a bit of trial and error but I managed to mont them with out a hassle.
Please feel free to add any additional information or tips that you might have.
