It's surprising to me how different they look just by a slight change in color. The gnome and the chick are perfect examples.

Ita not just color. Since the first yarn they used is thinner, you can see the stitches easier. The plush yarn makes it more fluffy and less defined.

I like the before version more, but that's just because I don't like the new eyes and I have always preferred small things. Both of them are so amazing, I could never make that. Probably the best I could make is a scarf... Pls keep making more amazing shorts!!! :)

I only have more bulky, plush yarn left over from blankets my mom makes, the rest of mine is acrylic lol, I wanna make larger, fluffier plushes aside from like mini bees and octos, and all of urs are so cute!!

Obsessed with the plush versions but I also exclusively work with chenille and blanket yarn for my projects so I'm a bit biased 😉 super dumb question but that little sideways smirk on the chipmunk is ADORABLE but I can't figure out how you made the thread curved? Aww thanks so much! Working with plush yarn just takes a bit to get used to. If you're not using this one already, my favorite plush yarn to work with (and see the stitches) is Parfait Chunky from Premier Yarns! Depending on how comfortable you are with crocheting, it may help to use a medium weight acrylic yarn to get more comfortable with finding the stitches before using the plush yarn. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thank you so much! That's a great question. You can *almost* use the same pattern and just change the yarn, but I always make a few modifications to account for the thickness of the plush yarn. I do sell my patterns as sets, so you when you buy either the medium weight pattern or the plush pattern, you receive both versions. :)

I'm curious as someone who mostly works with regular worsted yarn, is the plush yarn easier or harder to work with than the regular yarn? Your creations are adorable BTW 😍

That's a great question. It has pros and cons! The plush yarn is great on your hands to work. The bigger crochet hook and thicker yarn make it easier to crochet with. However, it is harder to work with in that it is a bit harder to see your stitches and depending on the plush yarn you choose, it sheds and breaks more easily.
