You have the coolest pieces Denise and of course the magic touch to create fabulousness, (is that a word?? Ha) Love the way you make the shapes in the box work for you., the whole piece turned out so dimensional and and yet so well balanced. The glass over the center and the magnifying glass really made great focal points. Love the loose gear idea and the spring for movable parts. Thanks so much for joining one of my events again. I hope you had fun with it and like always I loved watching you create. : )

I love that word Ina...Fabulousness! That's us for sure! I am honored to join in on your events...they challenge, inspire and give me a good reason to create more! Not to mention getting to see what every one else comes up with...I so enjoyed it all. I love your piece too and am envious of your very organized little compartments of "stuff". My stuff pile is getting smaller now that I paint more than assemble...but I do have a pretty wonderful junk drawer! Thanks again Ina...hope you give me a call when and if you come to visit your son!

Wonderful; I love how the metal disc on the leather case looks like a Pac Man chasing to eat the cog. Such a wonderful piece of art. Much love and peace from Greenwich London UK

I do have some pretty cool stuff Marie from my previous years of doing vintage...though my stash is dwindling now that I spend more time painting then assembling. But I do love little trinkets...can't resist them sometimes!

The meaning kinda morphed as I was working on the piece...not everyone's cup o tea...but I think we've all been there. I loved the photo of the boy!

Hi Denise 🙂Oh wow I absolutely adore your finished piece - it is SO cool!! I thoroughly enjoyed watching you put it together. You amazed me with your skill at cutting the picture to fit into the little nooks! How did you manage to get a piece of glass to fit perfectly into the bottom one?? I love the moving pieces you used and the wording - oh boy can I relate to that! 😉 It sure is fun being part of this collaboration with you and I look forward to seeing what else you do on your channel. Good morning Ginny...what a sweet message to open up to! I just got done looking at you channel and see there are quite a number of projects I want to take a look at! I love your use of the cut out woman in your piece and your whole process was so fun...turning out a very cool piece! I have watched many assemblage videos by Greg Hanson...thats where I found out how easy it is to cut your own glass to the perfect size...its shockingly easy! I hope to see more of you here Ginny...thanks for taking part with Ina and the group...hope we get to do it again! Happy weekend!

Wow, Denise - this is amazing. I have a newbie kind of silly question: when you set down your glue brush, do you set it in water or just put it somewhere? I mean, while you are in the midst of working. I'm having trouble learning to have the patience and skill to deal with glue when I'm working on something... Thank you!

Judith Montel Hi Judith, thanks for watching and enjoying my video. As far as my brush...I just set it aside while I’m adhering papers (I use matte liquid medium to glue my papers), I have plenty of time to glue them down without the medium drying on my brush. When I’m finished gluing down I put my brush in water to keep it from drying out.

@@cerropaint Thank you!! When I did some crafting recently the wet brush kept dripping more than I wanted it to on my work. And I feel so validated for saving some of those interesting packaging boxes!!
