Local yard used to have one Gaylord bin for motors. They now have two motor bins. One for the aluminum wound motors and another one for the copper motors and our prices suck too. :)

small yard always rips me off on copper wiring. I'll have a handful of snipets of house wiring and they will count it whatever aluminum I bring in say it be breakage. Or brass fittings from old hoses they count with aluminum. I need to quit going there for anything copper or brass and just stash it for years for the big city yard.

I changed the starter in my Nissan so many times i had it down to less than 15 mins. must be something with the Nissan starters.

the scale at our local scrap yard dosent weigh half pounds or 3 quarters of a pond, 10 pounds 12 pounds it never weight 10 pounds an 3 quarters, just saying

They're also pretty low to the ground which really helps with loading heavy stuff it helps immensely.... I've gotten the comment before you need a full size but yeah the tailgate of a full size is pretty much 4' off the ground.... These tailgates are at my knees much easier...

I must be pretty high on that level.... 16 acre farm Is multiple pieces of clapped out equipment. Fully loaded shop with every tool you could possibly need and a lift. 5 vehicles on the road with insurance. God knows how many tools And the skills to use all of them... I guess that's poverty in America now.
