Extra tip! You can actually control and deploy the amphibious transports long before the mini-cutscene is over. Just scroll to the top of the map. Deploy the MCV near the hospital. That way you can start spamming walls down near the Pentagon, and save it without losing any Prism Towers at all. You can also block off the top bridge completely so you don't have to defend from there - and build refineries near both the North and South of the map. It's great for culling the Soviet assault early on, as well as quickly amassing a counterattack force :))

Damn, you are igniting the nostalgia with these uploads. Never regretted subscribing to you, man. This is also a good showcase on how would you fail missions, and of course, showing tips and tricks on how to slightly break the mission ;) Cheers. I'll be playing this in the background. I love how this level starts out with a bang, and a few clicks just 3 seconds into the start is crucial to keeping those prisms up.

Love these playthroughs, and you can really tell you enjoy this game, you really play for fun and it's awsome

25:07: Carville...I'm sorry. ...You know, that section of the Pentagon getting destroyed brings back some...harsh real life memories, especially with RA2's references to the Twin Towers; there's also, well, Carville's death by...yikes! Sorry if I had to mention this.

For me, this is one one from many mission I depicted as: "If you want to destroy your enemy, you must be your enemy" Using Soviet units against Soviet itself. That was fun back then.

This is among one of my favorite missions for the Allies. I love how intense the first ten minutes is, then it's clear you can turn the tide. It is the beginning of the end, also.

But do you know you can link up to 9 prism towers and another won't effect?

1:30 He said "prism towers" in the video but the entire soundtrack in this section is dubbed to change that to "Tesla coils". Presumably the plot changed after filming to move the Soviet Prism Towers mission to the Yucatan.

Gotta say, the lighting in Einstein's lab makes him look... ominous.

A surprisingly hard mission, this one here showcases why the Allies are garbage without Prism and Mirage tanks in the base game, without artillery you are either forced to capture one of the Soviet bases to get their V3s (it's impressive how fast tg managed to get them) or mindlessly rush with either Harriers or Grizzlies. Not only that, but the AI will later on get terror drones (meaning that about 1/3 of your tanks are going to get infected and you will probably have to destroy them) and the Prism towers around the Pentagon are placed in such horrible positions that you are better off just selling them, building a second MCV and properly placing them around the eastern bridges and at that choke point west of the Pentagon. Arguably the best strategy I have found for this mission is to spam Harriers and destroy the enemy Con Yards and Factories, that way they won't be able to rebuild and they also won't be able to get any Anti-Air other than Flak troopers. After that all you need is about 70 Rocketeers to clean up anything that is left. Also, get some spies into the enemy power plants, it is essentially a free minute of air-to-ground destruction, since none of their Flak Cannons will work. Oh and most of the monuments have unique destruction animations, so after you get your magical help box from repairing them... you know what to do.

I like how the brown base is your old base in mission 3 with the psychic beacon. Also aside from from losing the pentagon I think if you destroy the white house you fail the mission.

I'm pretty sure that GI has long range but weak attack, conscripts have shorter range but stronger attack (garrison)

My usual strat is to actually deploy the MCV in front of the Pentagon, and then block the bridges with a swarm of GIs and anti air to protect them from the v3 rockets. Interesting choices on your part, I might try it that way next time I play the campaign! EDIT: should have waited a bit to see that you did something similar, but further back from the bridge before you attacked.

I know this is a little off topic but I’m just really curious. This is been bugging me for a while I know this is on yuris revenge but for the london mission or they have to do the one mission. What are those noises in the background. Would that be considered a wonder noise that sounds like when it’s near the shipyards or in the city that makes it that noise. Is that big ben? I made defense between hospital and bridge 3 Bunker MG, 2 Patriot Missile 1 Prism and 6 G.I (I want them to destroy V3 who launching back again to guard post until become elite)

The difficulty of the mission has gone bananas compared to the previous ones, but in the end, you still won. Alright, looks like the next mission will take place in...Pearl Harbor? Again?! My tip: have 2 engineer-IFVs can help you with terror drones just in case

I was wondering why you didn't sand a spy to the ore refinery in the second base "brown colour " :)

This is almost long and difficult mission (Beside defend soviet's battle lab) Main goal just kill the main base and everything will be sold. It's bad idea for using GI as defensive against drone or flak track without garrison use pillbox instead, 1 pillbox = 2.5 GIs Capture enemy structures is interesting It's ok with engie rush but you have to defend the last wave.

Leave gi's u get at start near bridge to right and they will kill everything, is seem to be units get confused when attacked on bridge, and act strange xD i also liked using harriers to destroy only production structures of enemy so it sell out and huge swarm come to gi's and its was truly a majestic thing to watch.

This makes me wish I could play the campaign since mine doesn't work and even enable the speed slider

Poggers! , I figured out that harriers can 1 shot rockets while they're charging up!

I replayed this mission again and it is entirely doable to harrier snipe all factories to force a fire-sale from AI. Though without vision I lost way too many harriers in the process. Could’ve been better but certainly doable.

My noob tactic back then put block the bridge with GI's and Built A lot of Harrier Spam their main buildings it kinda works.

Did you know that you can get money if you repair the monuments with an Engineer? A crate with money will appear, so no need to do (expensive) spies even.
