You can garrison civilian buildings and wall them off, gattling tanks won't be able to attack them anymore, qnd your structures will kill anything and have way more protection, I found that strategy incredibly reliable

Fun fact about yuri initiates. Their attack is saying “Yuri”. Get a big group and have them attack at the same time and listen. They just keep repeating his name.

One of my favourite missions, there's a wack tactic that is get a battle fortress, fill it with 4 legionaries and one seal, and get an ifv with an engineer and some prism tanks, then chronosphere them to that outpost on the upper left. One of the most satisfying tactics I ever did.

Hell yeah. When I was younger I was totally not prepared for handling the whole Allied techtree right after a simple straightforward limited resources-type of a first mission. Up to now I feel this is harder than any other YR Allied mission except Brain Dead

Another great video; gave me a few new ideas for this level. Keep up the good work. 33:15 Yeah, did that a few times myself. For example, in the last mission of the Allies in Red Alert 2, I had tried to drown the Black Guard Apocalypse Tanks in the river, only to teleport them near the 2 Nuclear Reactors, which were under my control. That was fun. 37:17 That was a nice hit by the Gattling's debris. Once had an elite IFV, having just survived a battle against 2 Rhinos (a lot of micro-ing), and was left with 1 last Health square. The IFV then auto-targets some base defense (Tesla Coil, I think), and the damn debris lands on the IFV, killing it. 39:10 This is one of the main reasons why I try to avoid using Prism Tanks on infantry and vehicles; I have had both my bases and buildings that I had wanted to capture obliterated because of them. In Yuri's Revenge, about 5-7 Mirage Tanks backed by 2-4 IFVs with some anti-infantry units garrisoning them (Navy SEALs, Snipers, Viruses, etc) work quite well without much of micro against Yuri's forces.

fun trivia...removing civilian buildings with chrono soldiers dident leave any wreckage aka..you could build there. remember that detail to this day ,because even as i played soviets....that was the sole reason i stole allied tech on special skirmish maps XD so i could make a nice base among the roads ^^ ahh the simple pleasures then young.

Ever wonder why is Yuri still wearing his Soviet outfit? It seems rather... odd. Or is he still working with the Soviets? I don't know, the coherent story got thrown out of the window with all of these time-traveling shenanigans. A relatively simple mission, perfect for messing around. In fact, most of the missions in YR are like this. This mission seems rather hard when compared to the previous one, but it is just as simple, assuming you know what you signed up for. A small group of Prism and Mirage tanks that can fit into the Chronosphere are more than enough to wipe out Yuri. Once you teleport next to his Con yard and take out his power, he is done for.

I prefer using rocketeers to attack garrisons. If I have enough rocketeers, they would kill all the initiates coming out.

One thing I have always wondered about this mission is what happened to the special dialogue for the 3 Movie Actors when using them. The version available on Origin replaces the unique dialogue with lines from a GI. Was this just an oversight when porting over to Origin? Edit: Just found out it was due to Westwood being sued.

Possibly my least favorite level of Yuri back in the days. Simply because it was getting me so bored with the slow paced speed the game was set in and the slow start. Although it's fun to see how much you can do in it. Here are a few nitpicky notes of mine. Nothing too special, just some notes on how I would do things differently. While setting up base defenses, you could expand to the right just a little bit more especially from the bottom side, as you would have more room for later buildings like chronosphere and stuff, and spread the prism towers a little more. When capturing LAX, instead of wasting $3000 for a new MCV, why not capture the oil derrick and build power plants to expand from there? Also, I want to think that the chrono-to-water was a misclick yes? xD GG! Now i really enjoy these series, they take me back and I'd love to replay. And on an unrelated note: Kalo Pasxa ;)

I never knew it was possible to get money from spies immediately after the last. I always have money problems in this mission even with al the oil, making it awfully slow and boring

I love this level. The Allied campaign in yuris revenge is easier and the levels are more fun than the Soviet campaign, except the 3rd Allied mission in Seattle.

I don't know it anymore, but does the Seal has more range than a Yuri Clone? I remember setting 4 Chrono Troopers and 1 Seal into a Battle Fortess and that worked

Where can I get/buy a version of this + YR that installs & works on a 64b Win10 ? and can those versions be modded? I have the old physical box set, sadly lost the key long ago and the discs are faulty but I am willing to buy it again is it will work on the latest systems. You should create a repair vehicle (engineer inside an IFV) and place it next to the ore refinery. It would automatically repair all ore miners as they unload their ore.

I just find this mission early money management is a pain. On my version Yuri attacks so often I am forced to modify the map so all ore become gems (including all enemy fields), and dot my base with tons of pillboxes backed by a few grand cannons. As for the attack, prism tank is pretty much the way to go, as other options are just not very great (Gatling hard counter air. Yuri counters tank and BF even with large numbers). Needless to say, early part of this mission is very challenging.

i have a question according to the bio reactor. if you capture one which is filled with units and you evacuate them, will they be on your side or still controlled by the enemy??

As this one is one of my favorite missions in the Allied Campaign, I'm going to leave my two cents. Please Tg, don't think I am criticizing because I don't like the videos, on the contrary :) 1. One of the best ways to defend was just to build a couple of Mirage Tanks and spread them on the base borders. When stationarry they're only detected by Yuri Clones, and not always (my experience is that they only detect and capture Mirages if a command for "move and attack" is given by the AI); 2. Don't underestimate the power of civilians - the Arnold one is especially tough on health even if his attack is weaker on tanks than on infantry; 3. You focused your attention on capturing the Yuri barracks and I understand how strong a building full if initiates is, but still, the LAX captured earlier would have given you free infantry to fill all the buildings for additional deffense; 4. I'm almost sure that you don't need to send 5 spies simultaneously ... try sending just one and see how much money would he steal, and then send a second one and compare the results. My understanding is that they steal a given amount from the total money of the enemy, and a second would steal the same given amount but from what's left from the first one. So a better idea is to send them i'n shorter waves of one instead all 5 at the same time; 5. Never forget the classic 9 Prism Tanks + Chronosphere Combo, that would have easily dismantled Yuri's base without the need to micro manage; 6. Try to incorporate the use of Harriers and Rocketeers against Yuri because excluding Gattling Tanks, his forces are very vulnerable by air (I have used harriers to attack the Arnie Grinder, which unlocked him to attack all the infantry (The Gattling Cannons are a problem, but I tended to send a spy to the Bio Reactor to the right of the base, that I left uncaptured for exactly this reason) That's alll ... I hope these comments give you some ideas for later missions :)

Why does my red alert two yuri's revenge have no game speed option in missions?

there's sometimes a glitch for me that the chronosphere won't appear for me so I can't build it for some reason is it just me or does it happen to you guys?

İf you full capture Yuri in this mission you can build everything in buildings but you can't build shipyard and you can build and train everything but you can't build Yuri MCV.

Why don't you use nighthawk to chrono as it is cheaper?
