This is a fan made Campaign created by Heli Heli is one of the most reputable mod creators in China’s RA2 community, hence the quality of the campaign is at a high level.
The campaign was released in Chinese only but thanks to "3652xxyy", the campaign has been translated to English to make it reachable to a broader audience.

This is my favorite mission from the Allied Rynderack campaign! Figured out from the first try that you can cheese the hell out of the first base (middle one), Chronosphere not needed: > Build a proper defense force consisting mostly of anti-air, Grand Cannons and Robo Tanks (in this specific situation, those units are god-tier due to their ridiculous mobility and naval burst damage). You can send a squad of 6-7 Robo Tanks to take down a whole navy fleet, having more can allow you to group these for each side used for attacks or to wreck Boomers. > Explore the gap between the left and middle base with a Nighthawk, if you figure out the Aegis patrol path, you can leave some spies at the edge of the middle base to do some magic/deep exploring. Aim to also hack the Battle Lab for Chrono Commandos (will come in handy later) > Prepare using some Chrono Legionnaires to erase a lone Grand Cannon from the upper hill. > Bring some more Nighthawks with engineers/GGIs/Snipers to start carving a bit from the path to the ConYard. > Train some Chrono Commandos to erase some crucial buildings used by AI to Defend, then blow up the ConYard. > Carefully clear enemy troops that auto attack your captured barracks/war factory (Harriers/AC Hornets). If not, 2-3 Patriots should be enough to essentially stabilize that backdoor base. > Aim to cut power from middle base, all bases are not dependent on the same power source. You can hack a power plant with a Spy to take out Grand Cannons safely. > Once you feel confident enough you can start blasting the hell out of the base with either BFs or Prism Tanks. > Start bullying the left-side island. Chrono Legionnaire can erase ConYard there safely. > Start blasting the Naval Yards you can use Dolphins to make it easier to achieve this. > Finish up the left-side base. You can send a few transports with Prism Tanks to erase the remaining stragglers. > Right-side island is the easiest to defeat at this point, just send some ACs to travel on far-right edge of the map to delete the ConYard/rest of the base. No Chronosphere needed at all, funny enough the mission ends with victory, although the whole trope here is that you need the Chronosphere to send troops to the next mission lel. Also as always, great gameplay!

Makes sense for a mission to end if all units are destroyed even if something that should be built, hasn't. Unless you lost the ConYard and there aren't any spare MCVs around...

Great work as always dude! ;D The difficulty level of some of the missions in this campaign can be quite pain (at least on brutal) but it sure feels really satisfying finishing 'em ;P

For those who have trouble in defending the island, here's my playthrough for Hard (Challenging) difficulty: You can total abandon the island but you have to do these things first. 1. Win the naval fight and try to save all the assets you have. 2. Leave the MCV alone on the island. 3. Before deploy your MCV, move all your units, including your ground army in the transports, to the top-left corner. 4. Deploy your MCV. Once the map is extended, attack the top island with ships and transport. Watch out the Grando Cannons. Kill shipyard first and block the position. If you do have the confidence with your naval micro, you can keep your ground army at your base. 5. Build a rax and a ref on the origin island, train some engis and transport them to the top island you're sieging. Capture an enemy rax first. Once you get the enemny rax and sd, build up your tech structures there. And you have to capture enemy Conyard ASAP. You will lose when you have no Conyard before the Chrono has been built. Build Chrono once you capture or build the lab on the top island. 6. You can keep some engis on the original island for emergency repair (saving your conyard) if necessary. 7. Once everything is done, the game is over. Only thing you would face is harassment from Boomers and Aircraft Carriers, since AI is not coded to attack its own island. You can easily defend it with anti-air and Grand Cannons on the high ground. 8. The weak point is, you are broke with eco, so you have to frequently use spies to steal money, about 10k refund per spy. So don't kill the only enemy ref! 9. You can attack the enemy in the same way as tg's. Or you can try Chrono Chrono-Legioneers. Do watch out for enemy Battle Fortresses and Mirage Tanks.

For base defense, tank destroyers are actually pretty effective against destroyers, due to destroyers' heavy armor type

Tank Destroyers are good against any and all VehicleTypes and AircraftTypes as they all use light, medium and heavy :) That's where their usefulness ends tho x)

@@CnCDune And I just realized that only miners and Kirovs use medium armor, so yeah Tank Destroyers are good against almost any vehicle units...

@@porposeone2213 Makes gameplay sense that the Tank Destroyer does reduced damage to Miners compared to tanks. Otherwise everyone would be using them to destroy enemy mining operations :D

One thing I noticed is that building a battle lab triggers aircraft carrier attacks on loop.

Ah, this is after the surprise-beacon instantly activated. First mistake: scouting with the Organics - Naval Organics have terrible vision in this game, like submarines. Lead with Destroyers, they also have sensors to detect Cloaked units. 14:31 not if it's primarily a ship-fight. Those GGIs can walk just fine; BFRTs would just needlessly increase the bill. That said, Destroyers usually *are* less effective against BFRTs than directly against GGIs because of the Armor - by 40%. 16:52 more rocketeers then :P I like how tg sees those Robot Tanks going from water to land and back again multiple times but doesn't go "oh yeah! Spamming those would be fun!" until much later xD 25:28 IIRC spawned units like Hornets and Ospreys will happily chase their target well beyond the range of their spawner. This not usually seen with the Ospreys as subs and other Cloakers are only detected within a small range of the Destroyer - once the target is out of that range the Ospreys have no choice but to break their attack as the target is now 'gone'. I think so far only Phobos made an optional off-switch for such behaviour to force Spawned to stay within Spawner's attack-range. 29:55 that's the AI trying and failing to move the Aegis away from where it'd like to (re-)build the Shipyard. The old trick we've been abusing since 1999 in TibSun no longer works in Phobos, last I heard. 32:34 unless you know the AI is cheating with power (because the Drain of some defences has been changed like in RA2All12 or some power plants are outside the playable area like in a lot of missions), I recommend only destroying AG defences :) 33:45 here's a tip: you can get rid of waypoints on ShipYards and others if you hit "Stop". 35:16 lol, didn't remember Robot Tanks could crush Infantry. 36:27 Prism spam or rush in with two Carriers, mate... 46:56 symptom of AI-failure. 49:50 yeah, not so fun when AIs play as dirty as humans, eh? x) 51:54 ouch xD 57:38 XD The outro's hilarious as usual X)

@@abuleil1117at 46:56 AI kept spamming ships but not sending them anywhere. No idea what could cause that, beyond not using something more simple, like a Hunt command.

some still gotta work on the game ballance .. once again the start of the mission looks like nightmare and IF you survive, then the turning point comes but the mission starts to get super easy...

When I want to transport spies, I usually use a nighthawk transport. It is cheaper than a battlefortress and can self extract sometimes. Just a minor thing I noticed.

You mean there's a chance the passengers survive the transport getting destroyed? That's always the case, but with the NightHawk can only happen if it has landed else everyone perishes too.

Excellent play as always! Mind if i ask - where on earth did you get an RA2 build that works on modern systems? would love to give this another go, at least until the muckers that have EA's license finally decide to give RA2/TS the RA/TD treatment. Thanx eh?

Hardware-wise, RA2 works on everything, even today's potatoes. Software-wise, you'll need some third-party, fan-made DLLs, like CnC DDraw, to get it to run properly. If that doesn't help then try running the game as admin If that doesn't help either follow the link in description - you may have a busted installation. Finally, TibDawn, RA1 and TibSun are all freeware, but only TD and RA1 got a remaster...

at 19:27 the sounds got broken, this is like the third time this happen in your videos, what's wrong? Edit: The broken sounds ended somewhere after a few minutes, and I'm 100% sure it's not just me. Another edit: the sound is broken again at 35:25, it got fixed at 38:29

You still doing testing of things? Because what if one were to remove the tag of a Yuri Clone that stops him from being Mind Controlled? So a rival Yuri Clone or Psychic Commando, etc. could take control. How would Mind Control work if a Clone or Yuri Prime took control of a rival Mastermind? Do all the units its controlling turn to your side? If two Yuri Clones attacked each other at the same time... would the game crash or is there some sort of priority system so one will MC the other (or because of animation issues, one is a frame short) Might be an interesting test to try out.

Interesting test to carry out with the original game, as Speeder already showed what would happen with Ares. IIRC in RA2, which wasn't designed with that much MC to begin with, unlike YR, if you have A MC B who already has C MC-ed, only B will change his allegiance; C will remain unaffected until the MC-link is broken then remade.

59:40 Eh!!! Dude!!! The trops you wasted in vane in this game!!!! Well played, though you might need to adapt better strategies in blind play through! Like, GGI's would be of a great help if distributed in some spots around the base. Also more efficient to have elite ones embarked in the BFs. You hade an engineer all the time with you, you could capture a building and build barracks a war factory like what you did earlier. The mission was frustrating, but you need also to calm down dear!

I know dude, i follow you years ago! I even see your old videos for some mission "for example flipped missions", when i want to enjoy strategic playing. 👍 But this mission was painfully interesting, and enjoying the gameplay get lost when you started getting bored or messing around! 😉

There's a cap for stolen cash in the Lynderack Project trilogy. Yeah, it would be really tough if you just sit and wait, like the first try.

The only cap for stolen cash depends on how much the AI has stashed away. You'd need Ares to set a proper limit, which this mod doesn't use at this time, AFAIK.

@@CnCDune It's intentional and has been written in the readme file of the campaign pack. I have no idea how it's coded in vanilla RA2 or how Heli coded it, but AI definitely has more cash compared to the stolen cash. You can pay attention on the cash amonut (especially when you have 0 cash and not producing much stuff). It should be always less than an exact number(around 12k or 13k). And in Rynderack 3 it would be lowered to about 10k.

@@CnCDune The thing is, players have to marco well, or try their best to protect their eco-line. Although there are still sneaky ways to finish the campaign, using spies instead of mining is not a ”true skill” (AI's harassment on eco being meaningless), especially in Hard difficulty (Challenging for Allies, other words for Soviets and Yuri).

This map, your game version is old. Patched version enemy will 5 carriers from east map, you are impossible to defend by only ground army... It's much harder now, annoying

​​@@5chneemensch138 he is a pychic who has mind control. that is the reason why allied units kills allied units.and his troops are called yuris army so hes objective is to mind control the whole world by deploying pychic tower called "pyhic dominators" (if i remember coorectly). To be honest original yuris revenge sucks mental omega (a red alert 2 yuris revenge mod) has a better story in my opinion

@@lelouchlamperouge2 "What is xxx" is a meme. I know who Yuri is. The person I responded to does not know why allies are fighting against each other despite it being told in literally the first few seconds - apart from the game being based on mind control in the first place.
