I just love when you're struggling in a skirmish against many opponents and you finally turn it around...you know the tide has turned when you hear those glorious choral tones take over the soundtrack. It's normally right as your giga fortresses open fire right over their base. LOVE it

Got me backing the Allies as well. I've preferred the Allies since Red Alert 1 but the Japanese do kick ass... those Shogun battleships that they have are quite nice. It's reminiscent of the old days with the Allies and their old navy fleets. This time around the Empire has the better navy I think. I have actually been playing the Empire a lot more mostly because of that.

It's a great idea. Here is my opinion. It's very hard to create a single world setting for all these factions to join in. For example, how do you call the resource they need to collect for their funds. Tiberium for Tiberium War series, Gold(?) for Red Alert series and cargo crates(?) for Generals series. Second, the only one that has official setting for naval forces is Red Alert series. Should we create naval forces for the other two series including 6 or more factions?

The biggest problem the Empire has however is their method of building: The Cores are vulnerable and a player can't place down buildings on ground that is inaccessible with those things unlike traditional building of the other two factions. This can be fixed however by the capture of an opponents MCV that is either Allied or Soviet and use their method of building.

A very fun mix to listen to. There is some noticable chop where the tracks were mixed together, but it's not too distracting. The link for the music has gone defunct, sadly - would be nice for late comers to get their hands on the 'lost' music from the games soundtrack.

I did mention the Scout Drones, which in RA3 scout class units can detect stealth or disguised units. I doubt the tanks remain cloaked while attacking, so as soon as they become visible I would attack them. And The Empire also specializes in Stealth, with the vehicles that can disguise as your units, then I just send one in, and hit you with a psionic Decimator blast. And I would likely have the Nanoswarm hive to disable your units while I prepare my own attack, it is made as a Defense [cont]

There is one problem though...the whole premise of the Red Alert series universe is based upon the fact that WWII never happened (remember because Einstein killed Hitler), so it is possible that the Yamato was never built and thus never sunk in a war against the allies. It is interesting to see that the Empire of the Rising Sun apparently gave up on carriers as well.

if it gets close to a base defense that still gives a target. even if the unit is lost it's a cheep unit to produce. In the end it comes down to who has the better strategy, not who has the best units.

I can't believe Japan was included in Red Alert Universe, I thought the fight will be Allies and Soviets only since Red Alert 1, But in Red Alert 2 another faction was created called Yuri from Soviet with Psychic or mind-control domination. And then Yuri faction was gone, Allies and Soviet are still waging war each other then another faction has come to fight these two factions was the Empire - land of the rising sun, technological cult, manipulation of beautiful/kawaii high-school girls - Japan. I'm wishing for bringing back the Yuri faction was led by the former companion and the creation of mind-control technologies - Yuri. So there will be 4 factions fighting each other.

Mhoz Gonocruz There was a reason for this, the Soviets lost they were desperate they had built a time machine. They knew Einsteins Chronosphere technology was the reason they lost. So they removed him from history, No nuclear bomb, no Hitler ( I assume Hitler was removed and then Einstein was removed in that order). This allowed the Empire to run rampant across China and slowly build up power, the lack of Hitler and the Nazi's possible forced them to stay quiet, the empire slowly prepared, slowly waited for the perfect time to strike against the Allies and the Soviets.... The time had come, and the Allies and the Soviets weren't ready. Yuri's time came and went, during the time that had already passed.(It's actually possible that Yuri never even came to power) Red Alert 1 and 2's history was changed, the lack of the Chronosphere more than likely allowed the Soviets to completely conquer Europe.

Oh that's makes sense why Yuri faction will never go back to RA game again, it would be boring if they erased Japan from the RA history and will replace with another faction since the game has changed and replaced the early faction wasn't even better without mind-controlling Yuri will manipulated all his foes Soviet, Allies and Empire. But no one knows what RA 4 would be as they released.

+DesertRatGaming Cherdenko killed Einstein before he travelled back in time to kill Hitler. That means WW2 happened just like in our universe, except Japan never surrendered and either made peace with the Allies or won the Pacific war, since Pearl Harbour is part of the Empire in RA3. The reason for that is, as you said, the lack of nuclear weapons. It makes sense.

well the scrin using what they use in C&C3 they might lose because as i believe the 'foremen' said units arent suiteble for prolonged resistence against organised forces (that said) going by the wiki and loreof the tiberium saga the scrins weapons and forces (with the exception of the mother ship and there air forces) there infantry and vehicles weapons were actualy mining tools that the scrin use to harvest tiberium so if the scrin were to come at them with there full arsenal . . . yea.

Rising sun would need to take measures into not losing that much troops from the black hole...or use that nano-dome to protect there bases instead. But what interest me is the nano core for the empire, I mean yes the nano core is there most powerful weapon in there arsenal but will it be enough to stop AIR units of scrin because take note the scrin air force have shields, and boosters for moving faster to locations on the map...Could be troubling too... What do you think?

Yes, well, the Brotherhood does utilize Fanatics, who are guys who run in to enemy bases, and blow themselves up. So, Kamikaze isn't a bad tactic in C&C, but it has to be used wisely.

What part of "Stealth tanks" Don't you understand? I usually have about 20-30 Stealth Tanks ready to ambush large forces, and rain Tiberian hell on any target. And since none of your units could detect stealth, they'd never see it coming. It's called "Hit and run," And it's something Nod specializes in. Not to mention that if I have a Redeemer, I likely have Tiberium Vapor Bombs, Catalyst Missiles, and a Temple of Nod as well. And that would ultimately spell death and destruction for you.

Am I the only one here who's desperately waiting for "C&C: Red Alert 4" to come out???? x'D I really wish it comes out! The story would be even better if Yuri was added as "Yuri's return", then it'd be a fatal 4 way story!!! Epic! x3

I believe the Command and Conquer Franchise has been abandoned by EA since 2012 after the cancellation of Generals 2 so your high expectations aren't going to happen.

Well there are parallels between RA2 Yuri and RA3 Yuriko in a lot of ways, given they nearly share a name, and both have powerful mental abilities. Another fun naming convention between them is when RA2 Soviets have Boris, and RA3 Soviets have Natasha: Together they could go find Moose and Squirrel!
