Yeah, powerful. But overlap with the Stingray. Both roles is nearly the same, just Stingray slow on ground only. Maybe that's why they are missing in Skirmish

Not sure about the original version... But in remix, after stingray get ⭐, will launch 2 extra torpedoes. More deadly on sea. As they want to differentiate both units.
