It was a very long wait, but the F-35 finally got to the UK eventually, and this video highlights the way the Red Arrows and Typhoon force came out to form a special flypast to highlight the occasion.
In this video we see a display by the Lightning II itself, plus displays from the Bae Systems Typhoon with full weapons fit including the Brimstone.
We also see the RAF Aerobatic Team - The Red Arrows, flying their Bae Systems Hawk T1's, as well as a flypast incorporating the 3 different aircraft types.
The F-35 (Joint Strike Fighter) has not been seen in the UK since, but hopefully that will change in the coming months when it officially enters service and eventually sets sail on the HMS Queen Elizabeth and sister aircraft carrier The Prince of Wales once it is built. #phoontime
