Jamie I love this because when you think "special event makeup" you think that you'll put on everything and go as ott as possible but you reminded me that special event makeup means keeping it more simple and flawless. The fact that you kept saying that you needed to make sure that you don't overdo it is so true so that when you look back on pictures you just see pretty and not overdone make up. Love that and love this look!!!!

I was just watching this with my little sister, she’s just startin to get in to make up now she’s a teenager! We’ve got five girls in our family, and we watch your videos all the time - they can’t get enough of you! We’re from Australia so the younger ones love your accent! ;) After watching this tutorial I’ll be making sure they all see it! Growing up and going from being a little girl who couldn’t care less about her face to a young women who scrutinizes everything about their body can be a really hard stage of a girls life - especially if they have bad skin. Now though, all of my sisters aren’t going to be so obsessed or ashamed of their skin because like you said ‘I’ve been breaking out lately - because I’m a woman!’ All of my sisters are going to feel so much more normal when they see this; someone in the beauty industry that they look up to has break outs too, but it’s okay because that’s just part of ‘being a woman’! I hope you realise how much of a positive impact you have on people everyday! 😊♥️
