Here is my red clay (barro rojo) method for making beautiful Mexican-inspired ceramic hearts - corazones. I taught this as a ceramic sclass and this was my model I created for students to create. you can also do this with air dry clay!
I used low fire terracotta clay
First firing was cone 04
I dipped in clear glaze and then the second firing was cone 06
