After the red dead 2 streams being the first livestreams I got to see of Matt, I feel bad for all the fans of the games he live streamed as his first time playing them (like Hitman and Saints Row etc) and not seeing some good moments of either the game or himself not making the final cut.

I think it's kinda mindblowing that the Pinkertons threatened to sue R* and R* said, "do it." The Pinkertons immediately backed down because going to court over it would have made their real life crimes a matter of the public record.

I know you probably arent gonna be reading this, but can i just say that i LOVE that you gave RDR2 another chance. Im amazed that you went from someone spitting completely on the game, to someone that actually could look at it objectively, very few people would have done the same. RDR2 is my favorite game, but it isnt perfect, and i genuinely think every single thing youve complained about in this video is valid. Thank you so much for playing this, please do not stop.

Not sure if you’ll read this Matto, but fast travel is unlocked through a camp upgrade in the ledger. You have to upgrade Dutch’s tent and then the next upgrade is fast travel.

23:09 actually I wrote a paper on mining towns and the Pinkerton’s and they were actually god awful. Mining towns were basically slave camps until the mines ran dry basically like working at Chuck E. Cheese and being paid in tokens $.70 on the dollar having to buy everything you need from the them at a ridiculous markup and then then charging a ridiculous price to leave via train so that once you accepted the free ride to go to the mining town, you could never afford to leave because the areas where they set up mining town were so far away from cities or port that you would never survive the journey and when the town closed, it caused a lot of people to die, I can’t remember exactly with the Pinkerton because I wrote it along time ago but I believe they got abolish because of the rising stability of a police force and they hung a family on accident in the east and then the final nail was they completely screwed up stopping a riot/revolt in a pencil factory. Kind of ironic how the Pinkerton were pushed out west like the red, dead redemption gang

This game is made so you enjoy it most when you are taking your time through it. So when I first played the game I never fast traveled ,as when you fast travel you miss all the cool encounters and side missions you can get. Though I know it's hard to do a playthrough and take your time through a game. Though most of the complaints you have of the game are hinged around a hasty first playthrough, that's not how most players approach it. Thanks for the fun playthrough tho.

just had to come back and say the Chelonian leader you met on the mountain uses the same voice actor as the Chilonean man you meet in saint denis later on. possible time travel? probably not now that i think about it i could go back to the mountain rn and the leader will be there in a turtle suit so idk. weird choice on Rockstar tho the guy in saint denis could pass for a younger version.
