Red Dead Redemptions' opening credits using Johnny Cash music! Enjoy this short introduction scene that you'll be seeing before each episode of the 'REEL' Movie series coming later this year. There are some issues with copy right that may make this choice of selection less than ideal, but I really feel that the music fits. The alternative would be to use some music from the game, which would also fit really well.

Beautiful, too bad that the game is 3rd person and console only

third person usually helps more than it hurts because the audience gets actually see the character. There is a cool little thing too in the game where if you stand still in an area the camera breaks off and shows a landscape shot of the area you're in. I plan on taking full advantage of this!

Agree. it is much more helpful for movie making but in terms of gameplay it's mostly an immersion breaker for me personally. I wish that every game would have a set of cinematic tools for movie making purposes, that would be easy to build in.

Same. I had hoped after Halo 3 included a theater feature, which gave you all the tools to make a movie like experience, including slowing down or freezing time entirely, that future games would have copied it, given how successful the game was. Only Call of Duty ever did, and I don't think it was with the campaign.

This is a really sad thing in the games world, especially the single player world, movie enthusiasts are only a marginal group there, LP's and raw gameplay are dominating the youtube scene almost entirely (with some exceptions in the multiplayer section).
