15:22 A Spot the Dog book. Used to read those when I was a kid. By the look of the front cover in the actual scene, looks like that particular book Lister's reading is Spot at Play.

Can’t tell if this is pure fluke or brilliant sound design but you can hear at 39:32 how the tone of the “solar winds” changes to match Rimmer’s sudden shift from nostalgia to hatred! I’d like to think it was intentional - nice touch!

Oh Jeez, Norman really can't take a second of friendly ribbing. He's defensive about everything and gets really heated when they make a quick joke at his expense. Everyone else seems to be able to fire back or have a chuckle.

Agreed. While I liked Holly okay, Norman is.... probably a classical narcissist.

Think you're all being a bit hard on him. Danny is clearly mates with Norman, and has a little go at Norman much more than the other two. If Norman were as precious as you're making out, he wouldn't keep doing it. There's clearly a friendship there, so he's not doing it to needle him. Norman just seems honest to me. None of that politician's fake sheen of charm.

In the documentaries he himself has admitted he was a complainer, as did the writers and producers and even fellow actors. I am sure he is a good bloke, but very complainy and easily offended.
