As an American, I didn’t know anything about KPop but started hearing the name “BTS” and looked them up to see who they were. I watched a video and then another video and then another video…three years later, I watch BTS content every day. 😂 Blood Sweat and Tears was the music video and song that really made me a fan. I couldn’t believe how beautiful it is. I’ve never really been a “fan” of anything today, only casually liking artists as they come out with songs I like. However, I now LOVE BTS and definitely consider myself a fan. They are an incredible group of talent that just has that “it” star factor quality that makes them mesmerizing.

I prefer their Korean songs generally so while I appreciate the success they’ve had with Dynamite, Butter etc, those are actually my least favorite songs. I’ve now been studying Korean for a couple of years just because they’ve created that interest for me and it is such an interesting (and challenging!) language. While I do not have any confidence yet in using Korean, I understand more and more and that is so rewarding.

“Blood Sweat & Tears” explores the concept of youth’s fall into temptation and loss of innocence. the album (WINGS), is heavily influenced by Hermann Hesse’s novel Demian: The Story of Emil Sinclair’s Youth that dives into the theme of good and evil. However, “Blood, Sweat & Tears” carries much more than just symbols calling back to Demian. The music video is a bubbling cauldron of artistic, mythological and Biblical references. BTS makes not only good music, they make art itself.

여러 아미님들이 설명을 잘 해주셨네요. 더 심도깊은 해석들이 많지만 데미안이라는 책 자체가 성장소설처럼 청춘의 방황과 자아를 찾는 과정에서의 혼란 등을 담은 내용으로 저 개인적으로 힘들었을때 언젠가 나도 알을 깨고 세계로 나갈 수 있는 때가 오겠지 하고 위로를 많이 받았던 책이에요. 예전 RM이 앨벙 소개를 하면서 청춘이 유혹을 받고 방황하고 혼란스러울 때이지만 그런 청춘들에거 충분히 방황해도 괜찮다는 메세지를 주고 싶은 앨범이라고 한적이있어요. 뮤직비디오가 영화 뱀파이어와의 인터뷰를 떠오르게 하지만 (타니들의 치명적인 아름다움으로😅) 안타깝게도 피랑 뱀파이어 내용은 아니었습니다~😉💜💜💜💜

Ох, парни. Это удивительно сложный клип с точки зрения того, сколько отсылок в него заложено. В нём нет ни одного случайного кадра, ни одной случайной детали. Это видео можно смотреть по каждой смене кадра. Основа - это книга Германа Гессе «Демиан». И уже в связи с идеями этой книги, расширяя и углубляя смыслы подобраны картины, сцены, цветовое решение. И мелодия которую играет на органе Шуга не случайна. Даже просто разбираясь со всеми деталями этого клипа можно познакомится с множеством предметов искусства и культуры. В формате комментариев всё рассказать невозможно. Этот клип создали очень талантливые и высокообразованный люди. Спасибо за реакцию
