Anthony's voice...his singing is so so so beautiful in this song. Might very well be his best ever. It's like a warm whisper of dark chocolate down my spine. Great song altogether for sure...but I am just struck by his singing ..thanks Anthony...I love to be moved like that.

The kiedis voice is my only problem here not always but he cant change the style when comes to ballad voice and after all these years we got tired ( not all as you said)

Of the 2 new albums, I'd say Unlimited Love is definitely my favorite. I love this album, too, but I'm just constantly listening to UL a lot more, even though now ROTDC is out now. Idk man.

Kiedis' voice is definitely the weak link, especially as we age and discover people who can actually sing very well (he was cool back in the day when we were teens and didn't know any better). It would be nice if he had a better voice or worked to develop it more (if possible), I agree, however, it is what it is and this band is still the best band out there currently.

@@youarehere0 no I'm sure he did his best in terms of singing practicing...he was never the best singer obviously he had that rap rock vibe that was shining though. No one could make can't stop such a hit ! Making extraordinary vocals for californication, by the way ,SA and of course bssm where everyone said he can't be him listen to the previous albums... Anyway last decade till now most of the song performances is irritating. Some are good though eg bag of grins but he destroys very good albums like the last one. One of their best songs ever made are there! I like the last part obviously of the album from the drummer to in the snow! That ballad voice saying yeah oh oh hey oh makes me sad and angry bcz there's a fucking genious frusciante there with a better complete voice as we all loved the heavy wing. It's the only path that song stop kiedis vocals #rick #rubin that's enough he made his dream true he can retire now or sing verses

I really like these songs, Unlimited love was catchy but I felt like all the songs were kind of the same, it felt like an album for the radio stations, it seems they saved the weirder songs for this album and I love them :)

Unlimited Love just sucked. There was maybe 4 good songs. This is a classic Chili peppers album through and through.

@@Theirishcannoli A lot of already established bands play it safe and just knock out the same sound over again. Can't deny the fact rhcp try to keep it fresh and you can tell they put alot into both albums. Agree I only like a few on UL but Almost every song on DC is strong Catchy choruses, solid beats and amazing basslines with a bit of frusciantes experimental stuff on top. Perfect imo

Far and beyond their most beautiful track. Almost shed a tear first time hearing it. Feels like a sequel to 'if'. The addition of saxophone/clarinet takes it to the stratosphere

true, very If vibes - UL and Dream Canteen kinda remind me of Jupiter and Mars (where "If" came from) discs of Stadium Arcadium but more fleshed out as their own individual albums

The first time, just kicked in, tears because of these perfect notes, chords and voices: maybe the most beautiful song of my heros!!! And just some of the lines of this song and on ths album: really master./#*..beautiful.....Really wordmagic from AK combined with out of space music!!!!And this album is the first in all my life that I don't want to skip a song....and I go way back to Mother's milk....just love the Peppers!!!

@@dannybedoya4053 Beans are a second rate protein-highly inflammatory and hard on the digestive tract (hence the explosive gas). For many people, rice is one of the biggest causes of blood-sugar/ insulin spiking, so also very inflammatory. McDonald’s is not a good choice either, but it’s probably better for you, especially if you skip the bun. Also you get toy.

A rare diamond of a song. I can hear influences from the ethereal band Weather Report with slices of Zawinul piano and Wayne shorters sax. One of the Peppers coolest and heartfelt compositions this. A thing of beauty.
