Red Lodge KOA Journey and the Beartooth Highway of Yellowstone County, Montana and Wyoming

The legendary Beartooth Highway called "the most beautiful drive in America" begins near this KOA in south-central Montana. Today we review this KOA and take your for a ride with us across the state line as we travel into Wyoming from Montana.
The KOA hosts are friendly and they took great care in showing us the campground and making sue we got everything we needed. The splendor of Yellowstone county, Montana, is on full display from this KOA. Be sure to stop in and say hello. Let them know I sent you too. Hope you enjoy this KOA as much as we did.

Hey Robert, Thanks for watching. I’m glad you liked it and I hope you have a great trip. We basically just flew through the area. I wish I could have stayed longer and explored more of the area and the history. I’m a huge Yellowstone fan and every time they mention Red Lodge I geek out. Do yourself a favor and stay longer. Thanks for sharing this video. I'm sure you can see how this box canyon could easily wipe out the town below with a flood under the right conditions. I just hope enough of the town survives.

What size rig were you drivimg is it posdible in 30 foot

I was driving in a pickup truck; 3/4 ton truck that has 4 wheel drive. The truck is 21 feet long. I'm sure you can make the drive in a 30' RV, you would have to take it easy around a few corners though. I'm positive I could have pulled a trailer up the hill. Good luck to you. Pat
