Back in June, Montana had historic flooding in and around Yellowstone National Park. Red Lodge, MT got some of the worst residential damage. We take a walk through town a little over a month later to evaluate the residual damage. The town really came together to help each other and the town is rebounding nicely with some obvious exceptions.
Red Lodge is at one end of the Bear Tooth Highway which leads into Yellowstone national Park.

Red Lodge was my weekend getaway. Relieved to see familiar businesses recovered - like The Yodeler. Rock Creek. I walked her many times. Beautiful until she wasn't. The 100-year flood. I was on the phone with local friends that night, heartbroken. Thank you for sharing this update.

Thanks for the walk Henry. Good to know that Red Lodge is getting the help they need. I have an affinity for quaint little houses with red trim, and Red Lodge seems to have that covered. The American Fly Fishing Festival is this weekend in Manchester,VT. You should totally ignore all previous family and business obligations and fly to Burlington. Frontier flys non-stop from Denver. Of course I am joking....mostly. Hope all is well.

Ha ha. That’s awesome. Is it there every year? I was not aware of it. I have a another channel called the weekly fly that I am trying to start back up. Maybe I could make it into a business expense next year.😀😀
