I love the fact that Baker’s making these dirty, grainy yet colorful films and giving such a character to these people. This was no exception!

I watched it 5 times at least! Lol I DVR’d it, it’s just hard to explain why it’s so good, it just is! Maybe bc the characters are so gritty and real. The scene where they go to the donut shop and are so excited because they can get donuts for a treat, that was my favorite scene in the whole movie. ❤

Everyone in this movie was amazing, but when I saw Simons Charactors ex, that was the most jarring to see our of character, totally believed her role.

I love his films! It explores the difficult lives of people who are struggling in society. His films are very raw and as is, which gives a chilling reality to viewers.

Excellent movie and Suzanna is incredibly gorgeous. I totally understand them seeing her in a theatre lobby and immediately feeling she has something special. :)

Read a story about Sean Bakers tribute to Brenda Deiss who just passed from a stroke. I think she plays the Mother. I need to see this movie. Loved The Florida Project.

When I watched film some things bothered me ... Like... Bad acting of June, scenes of a dog with no reason... otherwise the film was so refreshing... So "never seen before"... And after this interview, when I have found out June was actually amateur actress, the dog was just an orphan and that backyard is not even the scene (but it was real backyard)... It is just mind blowing. congratulations for your work.❤
