A ZZ Top style tune by Status Quo, part of a band themed 6-pack released around Father's Day (UK) in 2022. I figured what better band to celebrate the occasion than arguably the ultimate Dad Rock icons, hence Status Quo 01; a collection of some of their lesser known singles from the past and bangers from the more recent past.

Admittedly, I probably could've chosen a more fun song from the Quo's back catalogue but I wanted to go with a single of theirs that wasn't as well known yet still routinely shows up on compilations or concerts. This one has a decent solo, some fun chord strumming patterns and is overall still an alright tune. It's a shame the outro goes on a bit too long and they didn't have a bit more musical ambition but then that's Status Quo for you. Chartwise, some of the chords could've probably been pitch mapped better but it still plays fine.
