Red Velvet's Arrival at Pyongyang International Airport and Koryo Hotel
북한에서 두 차례 공연할 남측 예술단과 태권도시범단이 31일 평양에 오전 11시 30분께 평양에 도착했다.
이들은 31일 오전 10시30분쯤(한국시간) 김포공항에서 출국해 서해직항로를 통해 북한 평양국제비행장에서 1시간 후 도착했다.
조용필과 그의 밴드 '위대한 탄생' 멤버들은 2005년 공연때 만난 북한 안내원을 13년만에 다시 만나 반가워했다. 이들은 10분가량 대화하면서 인사했다.
입국 절차를 마친 방북단은 오후 1시쯤 공항을 출발해 숙소인 고려호텔로 이동했다.
고려호텔에 도착하자 로비에서 기다리고 있던 호텔 직원들이 방북단을 박수로 맞이했다.
평양도착한 레드벨벳·조용필 등…박수 받으며 고려호텔 입장
예술단은 호텔 연회장에서 개별적으로 점심을 먹은 후 4월 1일 공연할 장소인 동평양대극장으로 이동했다. 4월 3일에는 류경정주영체육관에서 남북이 함께 무대에 오를 예정이다.
윤상 음악감독은 "지금으로서는 믿기지 않는다"라며 "실수하지 말고, 잘 마치고 좋은 인상을 남기고 갔으면 한다"고 소감을 밝혔다.
한편 이번 방북 인원은 186명 규모로 도종환 장관이 단장을 맡고 김상균 국정원 2차장이 부단장을 맡았다. 김종천 청와대 행정관, 탁현민 청와대 선임행정관, 박진원 청와대 통일비서실 선임행정관 등도 포함됐다.

예술단은 25명이며 태권도시범단은 22명이다. 가수는 조용필·이선희·YB·강산에·백지영·정인·알리·서현·레드벨벳 등이다. 서현은 남측 예술단 평양 공연의 사회를 맡았다.

Well the dress code there is pretty strict. According to NK defectors, there will be a warden from what I remember, every 10m. They'll check your clothes, and they have to be simple and you're not allowed to have very flashy clothes and there are rules for your hair and just a bunch of other things. I'd guess there were several exceptions for Red Velvet since they are special guests and you can't just make them change everything on their body.
