i LOVE how much appreciation and praise and support the girls are getting for this comeback. zimzalabim was big but divisive, umpah umpah was great but kinda flew under the radar, but this comeback is just such a perfect storm on every level (quality, popularity, EVERYTHING) and PEOPLE ARE FINALLY TAKING NOTICE AGAIN MY HEARTEU this is such a great way to end off not only the festival trilogy, but the year too. the last little “hey now we’ll be ok” anthem is a really warm sendoff to a pretty bittersweet year personally for me, for kpop as a whole, and for the world. we’ve lost, cried, hurt at points, we’ve gained, laughed, loved at some, but this comeback is a sincere reminder that despite all the up’s and down’s of life’s odd little parabola, we sure will be ok. I LOVE YALL AND IM SO PROUD OF THE GIRLS FOR BRINGING 2019 TO A WONDERFUL CLOSE its been a wild ride watching them debut since happiness when i literally insta-stanned wendy after her iconic “shine on me” all the way to years later, it’s crazy to think how much we’ve all grown up along with them HERES TO AN EVEN MORE PSYCHO 2020 🖤🖤

Psycho just hit differently. When I listened to it I got the same Mello and down to earth feeling I got from bad boy and really bad boy. Red velvet just hit differently these days can't explain it.

Man, after several RED comebacks it's so refreshing to get a rich, VELVET one. This is definitely their best come back this year. And one of THE best comebacks by a kpop group period! Wendy and Joy really stood out to me in Psycho. Esp Wendy. Those vocals KILLED me. Wendy really be bias wrecking me T_T

So, I just fell head over heels into Kpop. I've always enjoyed some of the music and have listend to Blackpink and BTS casually for a bit. But, then I saw this MV and it really changed me and my outlook on Kpop. This is ART. And the song is so amazing and well written. And this is when I fell in love with Red Velvet and became a Reve. Who is my Bias? ALL OF THEM.

I read someone was upset at the lyrics for the song, but I disagree. The lyrics are clearly about a relationship that isn’t perfect but there’s love that sustains it. Two people who have their arguments that anger them but they get over it. Lyrics like these that portray the reality of a relationship, are not “toxic”, it’s honest and real.

This song/lyrics makes me cry, just so beautiful. What I understand is, that 'you' is our crazy innerself (evil self with black dress) that make us doubt about ourselves, hate ourselves sometime but in the end, you have to embrace your self to make yourself happy. 2019 is a tough year for many people including myself, and I'm so thankful for Red Velvet to bring out this song 😭

In one word, this song is epic. It does everything. Dark carnival strings, dream-like fantasy arpeggios, spaceship ambience, future bass chorus, with an epic outro where they take the motif that caps each chorus and turn it a brand new bridge. It's a fantastic song. Not only that, but the video editing is mindblowingly high quality. Color grading is pretty much perfect. They went with ultra wide for the cinematic feel. Lower contrast, lower saturation grading. Super tasteful all around. So glad I got to see this.
