There certainly is no album like Perfect Velvet/The Perfect Red Velvet in K-pop. It is singular. No one does R&B in K-pop like Red Velvet.

It feels so different to hear Wendy's lines in 'Time to Love' and 'Kingdom Come' after their Killing voice, bcoz I'm realizing she literally outsang her own studio version !... When I was listening to the song along with you, I expect her to sing strong and high like in the Killing voice, but it sounds calmer here in the audio (still pretty high) :)

OT5 is just the way we roll around here, at least for me, lol! This is one of my favorite albums of theirs. I learned the other day that the laugh in Peekaboo is actually from the Producers (one of the members of Sunshine), SM liked it so much in the demo they kept it, lol! I am so happy that you are getting more of what you were looking for from RV, as time goes on they all really start to come into their own and shine on the albums, you are in for such a delightful journey! I think I commented on a previous video that as time goes on Joy starts really adding more ad libs and other vocal stuff, so you definitely have that to look forward to! :) Lmao when you were like “is this their 80s synth era? Is that what we’re going to get on this album?” I said “No” out loud and my dogs were like “TF is wrong with you?” Then I Just came on and you were like “nope” XD! Why did I think you’d heard Kingdom Come before? That song is one of their most popular songs. Wendy is not human, Wendy is a vocal goddess, LBR. Wendy comes from a family of musicians, I believe she plays several instruments too. Oh, hey, Perfect 10! Barbie will totally be summoned to this one, ahahaha! No live for Attaboy sadly. And I wouldn't categorize Perfect 10 as a ballad as much as a slow tempo baby making song.
