I agree with this song being more of Red Velvet-like than AESPA but then I also see AESPA musically here because they've done softer/christmassy vibes before (Forever, Dreams Come True, Life's Too Short)

She has a stacked solo discography including: her solo album with 5 songs, and has multiple live performances on youtube Kdrama OSTs (goodbye, what if love, start-up drama ost and more) songs with seulgi, eric nam, john legend (the all of me john legend) multiple covers of english songs such as have yourself a merry little christmas, everybody hurts sometimes also did leemujin service during the chill kill comeback i think u will really like her vocals :)

Yeah I feel like this song is leaning towards RV's style but with a sprinkle of magic from aespa

I love seeing RV and aespa together! This is pure CHRISTMAS style, and both groups did a great job at fitting the brief. I do think Red Velvet has had more opportunity to do cutesy concepts in the past, but I don't think that places the style of this song in Red Velvet's category really because it's still not anything really like a Red Velvet song either, just a Christmas BOP. haha :D I think there is nothing in here like an aespa style rap, and so therefore the "rap" parts here (more like cute spoken lines) are more similar to things RV has done, but I also just think that's down to the Christmas jazz/musical vibe.

Please start a kiss of life journey; they debuted on june so they're rookies, but thank god the oldest is just 23 yo and the maknae is 18 yo. Each member (they're 4) released a solo song, which storyline leds to the debut song. The order to watch the mvs is: "Sugarcoat" by Natty → "Countdown" by Belle → "Kitty Cat" by Julie → "Playing Love Games" by Haneul → "Bye My Neverland" (bside) → "Shh" (debut song) → "Bad News" → "Nobody Knows". They're talented, they can SING SING, the rapper can definitely rap the dance is top tier and the stage presence is just overwhelming (+ they're hot af). Each of them was a trainee from the big companies: yg (julie), sm (belle), jyp (natty) and people say that haneul was a hybe trainee. Please get a look, you will not regret I swear, love youuuu

One thing to say about SM groups they actually sing and blend together they mach the singers intheir groups so it acrually functions as a unit you cant just rplace a member

I dont blame the aespa girls not feeling invested in that joint, if my company was constantly using my own popularity to (back then) only promote the company branding and other groups through whack tracks that dont fit in their worldview I'd do the same... the red velvet girls also never had their back prior to that and I know Irene was power tripping them back when they were trainees so even those awkward smiles were probably hard to put on

Red Velvet's concept masters. Of Course they are gonna fit cute or girl crush, whatever concept thrown on them. There was absolutely no need to infer all sorts of malicious meanings from this collaboration. aespa is a girlcrush focused girl group from SM. It's no surprise that Red Velvet does cute concepts better. Not every group fits to cute concept. In my opinion, soft and cute concepts suit Winter and Ningning voice. I personally think that Red Velvet has always been superior girl group

I know you've seen the behind scenes video where they all interacted so well and had some nice moments even though this was their first ever collab. @@arthurmrljs because your fav group wasn’t able to pull off this concept doesn’t mean you have to shit on rv it’s not their fault they’re so good at their job, secondly you’re saying dramamamama was memorable??? that chorus was atrocious the only good parts were when winter came on screen to slay and that one ningning line which I can’t remember rn tbh, and finally you saying the company uses aespa to promote rv is funny because they don’t need aespa to be known and also where please tell me where tf you’re getting that info from because rv has been mistreated with their content and promo ever since they debuted, aespa has had way more promo the company pushes them more, it can be clearly seen with both of their recent cbs you js decide to ignore

@@ervindeleons drama is better than anything the cake girls released in years 😭 in a normal world SM really would be prioritizing aespa since they're the gg bringing them money but they're actually still spending aespa money on rv when nobody but sm stans still give a F about them... aespa pulls off everything meanwhile rv was flawed since inception with irene and yeri, the projection is crazy
