Love that final sentiment!. I've been feeling recently like the art should be the hero rather than the people. Too much responsibility to try and be perfect for society as a hero. But we can all contribute to great art. Like your helicopter pilots, jump builders, videographers etc. who all contribute to showcasing your master level skills.

Kai Lenny is my new hero. I'm a snowboarder that's attempted to surf a few times, but always thought being able to do both would be awesome. The red bull film crew is just as impressive as its athletes.

Can we just take a moment and thank that incredible FPV drone pilot with the tilting GoPro? Amazing work whoever it was! Must be really hard to adjust to the speed changes of the boarders without getting too jerky. Hats off to you! If you see this: Btw, was that a drone crash at 11:58 and did you get it back? And what video system did you use? Asking as an HD interested Analog pilot.

Travis dose a lot of hiking in backcountry without the help of a helicopter.Sometimes the likes of AK weather is a major factor plus you have crew members with equipment and AK guides as well.

This just seems like one of the craziest things humans can ever, ever do. Imagine reaching the peak of a mountain in the middle of snow covered ridges for as far as the eye can see, and speeding down near vertical slopes, being chased down by avalanches. The adrenaline would be unmatchable, in any location in the world, any situation that I can think of.

So lucky fella's to have opportunities to rip those areas. That avalanche survival run was spectacular as you launched out of ahead and speed through ice. Timed your launch perfect otherwise would have been a rough buried finish to run. Avagud1 fella's

It's crazy how many extreme sports one person can master at the same time. I get it's all part of the same spectrum, but being a windsurfer myself, snowboarding didn't automatically come naturally. I guess it's like learning Portuguese, Romanian or Italian if you know Spanish.

as an alaskan myself that has only snowboarded our resorts that we have here, this is absolutely insane! i’ve flown over the mountains a ton of times & seen them all my life, but i’ve always imagined people boarding in the most rural spots & see how they’d do. pretty awesome.

Yo Kai! I don't get too much footage, but my friends and I have a trip planned to the Alps at the beginning of the year. I wanted to maybe speak to you about your guys' experience in Alaska. I'm from Salt Lake City, and currently work down here in SoCal signing solar deals. I usually ride the resorts up in Utah but I'm reeeeeeeeallly looking to step out of my comfort zone this year. We bought this because it was the only goofy foot board we could find. We already had a regular footed board of a different brand. This one is much better; specifically the bindings. Their shape makes it easy to get your foot in. Great design for a kids board to use on a small hill.
