When Micah killed Susan, that should've been the absolute message to Dutch, that Micah is not to be trusted. Dutch had more history with her & Arthur, but Dutch loves money, more than the ones who showed true loyalty.

I don't like how Grimshaw treats the other girls, but she is a valuable member of the gang. Without here everyone would live like pigs lol. Also, I never realized she mixes health cures for the gang. That's actually super cool and makes me like her even more. She really is the mother of the group.

Like most members she needed a place to belong and feel appreciated. She displayed a tough no nonsense exterior but deep inside she only wanted the best for Dutch and the gang. Grimshaw knew in heart of hearts that lifestyle couldn’t last but took pride in the part she could play and what she could offer no matter how subtle. A strong and complex character who was willing to kill for her gang and her heart. RIP Grimshaw.

She might be a pain but every team needs that one person to kick some ass every now and again.

I didn't really know if I liked Ms. Grimshaw that much through the story, but at the last mission in chapter 6, when she takes Arthur's side, she was amazing, and I loved her. Amazing video!!

She was a hard woman in hard times. Her happy ending would have been living her days out at Beecher hope as well. Maybe with her own little cabin.

I’ve been waiting for this one ! I loved Ms. Grimshaw she was one of the most hardworking and caring characters.

Oh ms grimeshaw , what a lovely character very unique aswell . she was like a mother to most of the gang . Sad that she didn’t leave with the rest when the gang broke apart her death although quick and unexpected, it made me sad . On my first play through I thought she was annoying and bossy before I started learning everyone’s role in the camp but through out my 4 play throughs she just grew in me . Great vid hope to Kieran and little jack next and more 🤠

one thing i like about your videos is that even though they're centered around one person, sometimes you give us a brief shot of the other gang members. it makes the video more lively to me.

Honestly, this game hit a bizarre note for me. As someone who isn't exactly a 'family first' kind of guy, I found myself dropping everything the moment she showed up asking me to help her save Tilly. I didn't need the explanation of the 'Rough exterior, good heart' I already knew exactly who she was.

The way she cared for Arthur stood out. Making sure he got a room at Colter and his bed was set up before Dutch at Horseshoe Overlook.

It's as Uncle describes Mrs Grimshaw, sweet with a dose of vinegar (don't recall exact quote) but it perfectly describes her character - she truly is the caretaker of the camp and extremely but without her they'll all rot in their filth. Such an overlooked member of the gang.

I like Susan, she's pretty much The Glue. Without her they'd be living in squalor. I'd never seen the speech scene before, nor Micah clowning her. These videos are amazing, they absolutely humanize the characters in a way that simple gameplay can't.

Miss. Grimshaw was one of the most important and valuable members of the gang, she really cared for everyone in the camp, the fact she made health tonics is incredible, and she cared about everyone's health and hygiene in the gang, like for example when Arthur enters camp while his clothes are full of mud, Miss. Grimshaw will force him to wash himself.

I heard her speech on my first play through. Made me go out and hunt some deer for supplies haha

I never used to like her but recently come to appreciate her more. She has a maternal instinct for some in camp, especially Arthur. She sees him as a son.

I have seen the everyone needs to work speech. The speech happens when the camp is low on food. In story mode just as the opening cut scene ends and you can really explore the map, you hear Abigail yelling for Jack and him responding. At the same moment you can hear Grimshaw yelling at Tilly. “Miss Jackson I have seen work harder than you”. Grimshaw says and yells something at her. I can not remember the exactly line. I have also seen the scene when Grimshaw tells Arthur she knows who has been shooting everyone. Well yes Arthur was doing that.

I actually haven’t even played this game before, I took about a 15 year hiatus from games.. (I’m an old school dude, grew up with NES, I was 13 in 1985) but I’ve been freakin fascinated at all of these videos, and just from these side stories (not sure if you made them or they exist within the game) but these are so awesome. Makes you realize how damn hard life had to have been back then. This wasn’t “camping”, it was life for these people then. For gods sake she is taking a break at 8:46am… my night owl ass would still be sleeping at noon 😂😂. You have to imagine what their lives were like, all the hardships, having something simple like a newspaper to even know what is happening in the world at all, then of course at 8:18 I had to notice her, um…well, that girls shirt 😂…how often could anyone even bathe. What were relationships like then. Just makes an old bastard like me think about those kinds of things from then while we have the luxuries we have now. Everything had to be worked for, from simply eating, to living without sickness and injury. Just imagine being at the mercy of the weather at all times in these camps. I’ve read quite a few books about the time period during the civil war, my god what a freakin miserable life most people had who weren’t wealthy. But they didn’t know any other life. Then there was the Wild West which is exactly what it sounds like. To think all of that was really not that long ago. We had great grandparents who lived it. Well, my old ass did 😂 you young kids are a couple generations removed from great grandparents in this era. What an awesome channel. I think I’ll get the game. If there are any tech people here, I have a Nitro with 32GB ram, 3050ti. Would I have to end up getting the 4090 external to run it properly or would I get a decent performance out of what i have. I think this is the perfect game to get me back into it
