Just the description alone has me interested in the course. I tried and tried when I first started to learn to accomplish the vibrato, to no avail. This is certainly one course to check out!

"Meditation" from Thais is my favorite (and my dad's, too!). Thanks for selecting it to demonstrate vibrato. We benefit greatly from your videos! Keep 'em coming, please. :)

Hmmm.....except Red Velvet cake. It needs nothing! LOL But yes, it's true. You can go without the icing.....but who wants to?

Can you give me your honest opinion: I am 24 years old and I have always been a fan of the violin, but haven't had the time to play until now. My goal is to eventually learn the Bach S&P's, but most people seem to think it's impossible for someone my age just starting. Do you think I could manage to achieve that type of skill before 6 feet under? I do have access to professional violinists at my university.

24 years old!!!!!!!!! You have 60 years to work toward that goal!!! (you'll only need about 15-20 years of SERIOUS work to reach it.....if you work slowly, then maybe 20-25 years) DO NOT let anyone tell you it's too late. People are doing it every day. Get a great teacher who fully supports your goal and takes you seriously. Don't settle for someone who doesn't totally support your goal. Sit down with them and construct a 1 year and 5 year plan, and that will be your North Star. Every year, come up with a new 1 year plan. GOod luck!

I am 25 years old and just start a couple months to play violin, luckily I had 5 years of violin lessons when I was 9-14 year old. But after the first year I've got in a group where 2 other girls can't play violin at all and they costs all attention of the teacher, so I didn't make a lot of progress and that and a money issue made me quit. But after 10 years of missing it I got finally the guts to get back on track. I am very devoted to learn the violin and practice every day or twice a day. I have a very bright teacher who supports me completly and I make better progress then ever before. Tought, it will take years before I can learn the vibrato. But it will come. I am certain of it. Someday I will play the most beautiful songs who touch my listeners in their hearts and bring them joy. For the first year plan I want to play some tracks from the songs of the Pirates of the Carebbean movies. And later on more like French music and after 5 years start with Irish Friddle. I like the happy songs what makes you to dance :) Sorry for my bad English I am not really good at.
