Learned a lot from this detailer. I hv always found putting the DA lead over my shoulder uncomfortable but seeing the way u wrap it round your arm, Think I will try that next time. Plus the small wheel wooley great idea.

One of the best detailing jobs i have seen. Fantastic work. Was amazed at how bad the leather had deteriorated in a car that age!!! That's some cheap arse leather.

Have you tried the Hex Logic foam pads from Lake Country . For compounding & polishing ? Yellow for compound , black for polishing . Is this as good vs the micro fiber pad you are using ? Thank you .

Did you really do 400 with wool into 400 with a foam pad and finish with a medium? Never seen that version. I would assume you’ll remove quite a bit of clear coat that way. Any chance you measured it?

it will be better on the washing stage if you had a pressure washer and a foam canon. I used foam canon for prewash stage just to loosen up most of the dirt and rinse it off. After that only wash the car with a washmitt. It can help to prevent swirl marks and scratches :D anyway nice work! its hard to see a car detailer with such passion in malaysia >

For some reason I hate big chunks of silver inlays on my VW beautiful beasts. Just pick up a VW Golf and it’s the first one with Carbon inlays and was not sure if I would like it as you think Carbon and you think boy racers. I have actually fallen in love with the look now.

@@Jubi230GTI I don't own anything Rupes. Waste of money in my eyes. $400-$500 for a polisher is just ridiculous to me. I have a Makita rotary buffer, a Shinemaster 15mm and 21mm, and I use the Shinemaster mini detailer that runs off my rotary. 4 tools for the price of 1 Rupes. See what I'm getting at here?
