Ayyy thanks for the comment!!! I built the great cathedral of manplatten. It took nearly a month to build though lol. However, I didn’t build the structure of the church, it was from an old server I used to play on back in 2019 (sadly the server was shut down sometime during 2022-2023), and it was built by another player named Murdock. They basically built the structure of the church for a different purpose, and I thought it would look amazing in manplatten. I asked Murdock if I could rebuild it and repurpose it into a church, and they said that I could. I also built the church as a way to remember that server I played on and as a way to praise God, and to inspire others in the Minecraft server. God bless you! :)

Nondenominational Pizza Hut made me smile because as a nondenominational/pentacostal that is indeed how our churches are. Just the biggest, ugliest, squarest open building that they can find and afford, probably run down inside and out, sometimes just a random old restaurant in a strip mall. One of my old churches went from a strip mall square up to an old college campus, to just a straight up warehouse they had to add some walls and structure to on the inside, because it was just one big room when they got it.

No offense but don‘t you think if the building were more beautiful it could glorify God along with worship?
@Thedarkbunnyrabbit11 ай бұрын
@@nataliej.3579 The focus of the building isn't to look beautiful but to be functional. There's nothing wrong with pretty churches, of course, but with nondenominational/pentacostal churches, the focus is to get as many people in to worship and study as possible, and it's usually done on an individual or small group of people's budget. That's why sometimes they just get a big tent and set that up somewhere. Getting butts in seats (or running around the room, as the case may be) is prioritized over it looking good. You'll generally only see them look good once they become large enough that the church can afford to custom build a place, like the TV preachers you see.
