Ppl are hating on the Cs? I mean of course some ppl are, some find a way to hate on quite literally everything. But a lot? I try to avoid the talking head sports shows as much as humanly possible, and I am not a BOS or DAL fan so I don’t see much about them online beside typical comments during games or whatever. I assume it’s about their “easy path” to a ring? If so, I despise that BS. Sure if someone says “BOS had one of the most difficult paths of all time” that’s crazy, of course you’re gonna get roasted for that it’s a very silly comment. Putting any kind of asterisk on titles though is just so lame. Every championship took some luck to win, whether it’s some injury luck for you (not having ppl on your team get hurt) or vice versa. It could be one of those, a better team losing for whatever reason so you don’t have to face them, having some shots fall in important spots, (I’m a DET fan and Robert Horry took a chip away from them lol) maybe a lucky draft pick or cheap signing that vastly over performs your expectations at the perfect time, there’s a million ways. Variance is a real thing, and especially in a league with so much parity right now you need certain things to fall your way. It’s not like BOS struggled though. All you can do is beat the opponent in front of you, and BOS destroyed everyone. If they played bad teams and barely won in 7 games every series, it’d be a little different I guess, still a championship though. But they didn’t, they never went past G5 ffs lol. Nobody really remembers the paths to rings unless there was some crazy circumstances, and even those usually fade with enough time. Lockout seasons? Nobody even remembers what years were shortened over a decade ago. A chip is a chip. Idk why ppl think differently, they’d be thrilled if it was their favorite team and they’d be defending it. People just like to get mad about stuff I guess. Sorry for the long reply!
