I always felt that the “threats and menaces” suit was intentionally made to be bad, because Spider-Man hated the idea of being a corporate Spider-Man. Great video, btw.

I hate exposed Web shooters on costumes. I don't think all of Spider-Man's foes know he uses synthetic webbing, so it exposes it as a weakness.

Its kind of crazy how sometimes fixing a terrible design just requires minor changes to the design.

Really good redesigns man, Marvel's recent designs feel so busy, but that doesn't work too well on a character thats typically drawn slim and muscular, especially since they're designing for SPIDER-MAN, you should probably keep it as simple and sleek as possible. Your designs stand out more, and would be better for the artists that have to draw these suits constantly.

Gotta say, I am digging that Spider-Verse style redesign of Miles’s original suit at 0:39.

I love your suit redesigns! You should go back and tackle some of the doozies from earlier comics too. Particularly ones such as Spider-Man 2211 or Cyborg Spider-Man, which just look ugly and bulky to me when they should be futuristic.

I actually like Midnight Suns suit, specially the logo, it's really beautiful. The only thing I'd say I didn't enjoy was the yellow parts on the arms and the mask, would've been better to have something that works in conjunction with the logo, something that really spells magic like just having some sparkling hieroglyphs on top of a rock-like texture piece on those parts.

We need more Ben Reilly and Kaine Parker love and representation. Keep up the amazing work.

another thing i really like about the streaming suit: it's to give the audience something new but still close to the original it's sorta saying "hey guys, it's me, the friendly neighborhood spider-man, now on twitch!" it's recognizably spider-man, you can tell it is, but it's different enough to warrant a reason for it, the reason being that he's streaming so, very good suit redesign! i love it

The problem with your concept for the spider ozcorp suit is that the mask doesn't match well with the rest of the suit, and yeah the goggles on the original fit much better either way. I can see that you took time with it but from an outside perspective, while the body is okay, the mask seems to be out of symmetry with the rest of the suit in color and goggles. Also the web shooters should have an extra egg on the back of them.

I don't know what suit that is in the thumbnail but I already know why it sucks, when I looked at it just now.

I really like the spider-logo design you came up with for the Oscorp suit, though I don’t like that a majority of the suit is black. I feel like it makes him look too much like a power ranger.

To be completely honest, my only issue with the Beyond suit is the fact that it doesn’t look as good as Reilly’s Sensational suit. Hell, I find it to be a cheap imitation of it

My opinions on all suits: Threats & Menaces: I never really held any contempt for this suit nor any affection yet I don't feel like simply saying that I felt nothing for it would be an inaccurate description of my opinion on it. I think what you said about it being the "Uncanny valley of Spider-Man" is a somewhat adequate way of articulating my feelings towards it, it feels familiar but not different enough to say anything significant about at least when comparing it to suits of a similar nature, though I'd say that the colour scheme is my main issue with it. I kind of like the look of the eyes and how they sort of emulate the dot in like a camera lenses but other than that I can't say much about the suit. As for your take on it, I really like your approach of wanting to reference streaming platforms and came to appreciate elements of it more upon realizing that. I'd try and make parts of it like the red look more armoured and futuristic in order to emulate the feel of the original as it's still meant to augment and enhance Peter's abilities. I'd also try to have the web patterns be glowing LEDs to again, emulate the feel of the original, as well as to keep the design from being too bare bones, and I probably would still keep the glowing dots in the eyes. Beyond: I was initially in the camp of hating this suit but uponviwieng it more and more and really breaking it down I've come to appreciate it more, although I can definitely see how one would still not like the suit for reasons like it seeming like they just erased certain areas of the original and called it a day. Oscorp: Whikst I wouldn't say I like this design per say if also have to admit that I dont really hate it and hold a form of appreciation for what they attempted to do. I think the yellow eyes from the first amazing movie is a neat change to the usual design that should be utilized in more redesigns and the new shade of red also helps in givng this suit unique feeling in comparison to the original and I can very much appreciate their attempt at integrating a sort if jacket into the suit as I feel that that was one of the coolest elements of Ben Reily's original 90's suit that should have stayed prevalent, however i do agree in that the design overall feels a bit too clunky and feel that it's lacking in depth of thought in terms of certain elements like the "jacket" and weird orb thinis. Whilst ibtuink your approach to came out great, I feel like it's too close in appearance to the iron spider suit and yhat it starts too far from the original, alto8hh I'd say that you made better decisions with it overall. Also that last one was just...horrible. he looks like a golden disco ball or something, though the logic is admittedly cool looking

That last one… has potential. At least keep the spider. EDIT: I got it. 90’s Spider Armor suit but with smaller, gold boxes for Disco fever. Keep the black underneath, Keep the spider as cracks in the suit, keep the suit under the plating black. Amazing Spider-Man 1 eyes.

So my thoughts on these Streamer suit: I prefer the original, the blue and silver combined with orange lights works really well and is much different to Spider-Man’s classic red and blue. Beyond suit: yea that Lego needs to be centred. Oscorp suit: yours is absolutely better, while I don’t mind the original at all, your concept looks a bit more pleasant to look at and feels believable. Card game: honestly don’t mind that suit, the eyes could use some work but over all, it could be worse

I dont like the spider man beyond suit much, but not because the spider logo is displaced, because it is the same color as the blue part and just cuts into the red part of the suit. I think it would be better if the logo was black and didn't carry the blue over

Hippie pan flag Spider-Man gives me life I think Threats and Menaces could work with glowing yellow filling out the Spider-Man eye shape similar to the anti-Ock suit and being on a new character or an AU variant instead of main Peter

I've not read a spidey comic in years but you've managed to give me ideas about the visual language of Spider-Man suits I never gave a fuck about - like I feel like I'd be willing to lay down my life for how much I hate the small cells on that beyond suit

I like the streaming suit a lot (yours not their’s 😂) the only criticism I have of it is I definitely think it needs webs. It looks really good just as a normal Spider-Man redesign and not just “Twitch Spidey”. As far as the Oscorp suit go’s I think it looks really good too. I really like your Spider emblems, they look new and old at the same time and manage to be something I’d consider Iconic.

I think if you maybe added the teal as highlights on your redesign it would work well. I think the teal compliments the yellow best alongside the red! 10:50 I think the thumbnail is just adding fuel to the fire😂

i loved the beyond suit until i found out the spider symbol on the chest wanst centered xD in some panels it looked centered all they had to do was do what they did with the sensational spider man suit it was centered..i like to think of the beyond suit of a tech version of the sensational suit IF its spider symbol was centered

I think youre right on the threats and menaces suit, but i think at the core it would just need a new colour pallette. It would work if the blue was dark grey and purple was used as an accent colour (yes i am saying purple for twitch) but i do rrally like all of the redesigns in this video :D
