A review of the Master Grade God (Burning) Gundam from the anime series G Gundam.
Think I'm officially done with G Gundam kits now lol... At least until I redo the Shining Gundam review...
-- Production Notes for L8r Reference --
- This video is technically a reupload of a previous review. However, I had to take it down and swap out the music, so I decided to make some updates. Below are the notes for the original version, followed by the notes for this updated version.
- I really feel like this review is the culmination of everything I've learned. There's no real glaring flaws. Sort of me operating at the best of my current skill. Really proud of this toy review lol
- I really like the new photoshopped title cards that I started in the Patlabor review. So much fun to mess around in Photoshop and try and just try to make something that looks cool. This one might have a a little too much going on tho lol. It's Hong Kong with a sun set on top, then blended. It looks cool as a big image, but scrunched down for the thumbnail, it's a little too busy.
- This review took forever to make. Not even really sure why. Just every part of the process seemed like it took longer than before. Still, I learned a lot, so I'm happy with it.
- The filming of this took 3 days, mainly because I kept procrastinating. I'd film 10 shots, then just quit for the night lol. Not sure why, but that may be why this took so long to make.
- For some reason, when I slapped on the color filter, it made my hand in the articulation section look super tan lol Trust me, I'm much whiter than that lol Maybe it's a sign I need to step off the color editing...
- I really need to update the intro. I like the concept, but the pictures are really grainy and low quality, not to mention they aren't all white balanced and exposed properly lol. Add on that color filter, and it just looks really bad. Hopefully I can get around to making a new intro by the next review.
- Speaking of next review, I'm kind of a clean slate here... I really am out of kits to review. Usually I just take a kit from off my shelf, but I'm all out now lol. I mean, I do have other kits, but I they're ineligible for review. Like my Double X which has a broken wing binder, or my Nu Gundam which has it's fin funnels glued together, or my Gouf which is completely repainted. So I'm going to have to buy what ever kit I review next, and seeing as how my job is currently on the off season, means it'll have to be real cheap lol. We'll see.
- I changed the title to G Gundam instead of spelling out the name. Hopefully to prevent KZfaq from marking it controversial. I'm probably over thinking it, but eh~ Never know with this mess of a site. Going on 4 months of losing monetization now lol. They literally took it away, told me to get more subs, then when I hit their new criteria they say they are behind in reviewing applications and to wait a few extra months. Why am I even on this website again?
Here are the notes for this updated version:
- New music of course, but think I mixed it a little too low. This new music is a bit 'fuller' so it can overlap with my audio much easier, so trying to find the level for it is rough. Great song though, just need to break it in.
- Re-EQ'd the audio.
- Cut a 2-3 second section in the articulation cause it was mildly in-accurate. I mean, I was right, but was tired of getting comments about it, so whatever~ lol
- New title card. It's based on the old, but updated with my improved Photoshop skills
- Sped up ending tally monologue
- Updated font
- Kept the original color filter, cause this was the video where I started to know what I was doing. I mean I still don't, but like, it's close enough to my current know-how lol
Anyway, that's all I've got. Here's a song something to make up for all that reading you just did lol • ALL I NEED / 彩恵津子
